This place gets on our nerves so much.- chicken gets smaller and smaller- they charge for sauces unlike every other restaurant ..... What next, charge for napkins?- they count/ weigh frys and all servings regardless... Food can seem so small for 7-9$ and they argue it is just right!!!! :(I would never go if not for my wife liking the place... It is the same price as longhorn for lunch.

Ordered 10 piece hot Teriyaki and they were awesomeeeee! The restaurant wasn't packed at all so I got my food in less than 10 minutes. I'm from SC, but when I come back to visit, I'll be back! Thank you for your kind words. I am glad that your visit was enjoyable, and your wings were great. Mike Samson Owner

The good at Shane's is great, if you eat it there. I recently ordered Q to go with a side of fries. The Q was great but the fries were a disaster. Cold and greasy...

First time in a Longhorn in years. Though there is allegedly a tradition of customers eating peanuts and dumping shells on the floor, saw little evidence of that. We asked for peanuts and never came. Server missed several items ordered, but she was personable and apologetic. Food was tasty with large portions

If you are in a salt/spice restricted diet, this is the place for you. The food had absolutely no taste whatsoever. The service was good other than everyone coming by the table asking if everything was ok and we saying yes. The potato salad was just huge chunks of potato with a lot of mayo. Wonder where they got the salt free mayo. Rutabagas were horrible. I've had better out of cans. Collards also had no taste. And, yes, I added pepper sauce. Didn't help. Def won't go again.

My father love Campton's and there grilled porkchops He likes Susan his waitress and Renee the cashier and the owner. Camptons has great vegtables. I like the chicken and mom says they have a great hamburger. My husband and brother like the food as well but my dad is there # 1 fan. My dad is 78 years old. My brother said to mention the meat loaf is very good

My husband and I ate lunch here. We both had their special of fried chicken. I substituted the collard greens for cole slaw which was just OK. My husband enjoyed his food more because it was Southern style and he grew up in Alabama. I grew up in Michigan so wasn't as crazy about the food. Very friendly waitress!

Good lunch spot in Downtown Monroe. Very relaxing and fun place for lunch. Excellent Staff, great parking (across street), convievent location in Downtown. our group had a little bit of everything on menu, all was good, but little bit bland ( more spice would be nice). But overall very good and fresh, try it you will enjoy.

I was there with my family to have lunch, I'm not a local I'm from Miami. I was there with my family that lives nearby and everything would of been great. But when middle son came in with his black wife and there son, it seemed like everything went quiet, maybe it was me but i did a scan of the restaurant and it seemed like all eyes were on us. We sat down and ordered our food. It seemed to take a little longer than i thought it would for our food to arrive, when our food was severed everyone but my middle son family got there food. We inquired to our server he said he put it in there system wrong. Although my daughter in law was getting upset rightfully so i was able to calm her down with the help of her son.Iâm sorry but this is ridiculous. This is 2019. Bi-racial families are everywhere. I married a woman of another race. Our own children are bi-racial. The cooks in the kitchen see a screen and printed ticket. Not the color of our customersâ skin. Our kitchen manager is black and was promoted from within over other staff with more years here because she earned it. We love all people. We donât see color but rather character. Thank you for visiting Hot Rodâs but race played no part in how promptly your familyâs food was prepared.
