Recently stopped in to the old subway and was treated to a really cool club experience on an average weekday afternoon after I picked up my kids from school. The guy in question and for anybody who has been here I'm sure you know who it is. The family before us which consisted of a mom with her 2 girls was receiving a hard time over something she purchased that he wasn't sure if he was ringing up right or not. Sounded like he has being rude but I stayed in my lane and didn't say anything. Next the same guy decides to dictate rudely to a coworker what she was doing wrong and then get on the phone to call in for some support, bc I guess he couldn't handle what was going on with the overwhelming 8 people in the store. While on the phone he decides that now now is the time to turn up the club music that we had all been waiting for. I actually like the big Sean song that he played but I'm pretty sure if the higher ups heard it my dude. I'm pretty sure you silly sandwich maker they wouldn't be f***ing with you either.

The food was very good, but the menu listed roasted Yukon potatoes, but we received red potatoes with way too much thyme. Our steaks with mushrooms were very good, lots of fresh vegetables. One in our party did the Friday night buffet and enjoyed the salmon, chicken, and prime rib offerings.

We visited while Middletown was recovering from the Lake fires. That may excuse some of the shortcomings I felt here, but other restaurants in town coped much better. It's louder than I like, and the limited service wasn't very responsive.
I just stopped in for a quick bite and what a surprise. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich $2.25? Hot and very tasty and not soggy.Great prices! (advertised burgers for $2.99). Looks like a mom and girls shop - really busy but fast service. Full of locals who seemed to be regulars (always a good sign). Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop again.
I'd had a long morning driving, so was delighted to find this sandwich shop / deli. The only problem was deciding what to order! They have almost unlimited 'standard' sandwiches, or you can custom order something. The staff was very friendly and personable, and the area was sparkling clean. It's also a small store. They were pretty busy but my sandwich was ready very quickly. I ate outside on the covered patio and enjoyed the view of the creek. There were tables and chairs out in the garden area, but it was a tad too warm for that as there isn't shade.Very good, fresh food.

One of the stops on our small road trip. We had brunch and it was very good. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. The service was good but there was only one server which made the service almost nonexistent. Other than that I would recommend this place for a good hearty meal for a good price.
