Like many Wisconsinites, my wife and I enjoy Friday night fish fries. In Menomonie, there are many excellent choices. I did not think a fast food restaurant would become my new favorite, but that chanced tonight. We joined another couple at the Menomonie Culvers for their Friday 3 piece Cod special. The fish was excellent. It was nice to have a choice other than french fries for the potato and they have a great coleslaw. We will definitely go again. Fast service, one of the cleanest restaurants around and great company (you will have to work on that yourself).

Came here with friends and were seated on the outside patio. Was hoping to enjoy one of the fantastic rotating tap beer selections they used to carry. Instead, I was given a rather plain, "average" beer menu. I asked for a Summit Pale Ale, I was told they didn't carry it anymore. I ended up with Victoria and ordered their homemade cheese pizza with sausage. It was very good! I like going to the ale house but am disappointed they don't carry the large selection of craft beers they previously once had (Pearl Street, Lagunitas, Lucette, etc.,) Please consider jazzing up your beer selections again!

Exit 45 Restaurant and Bakery is a family style diner/truck stop. Specializing in classic diner fare, we make everything in house from scratch, from our gravies to our potatoes to our pies.
Four of us ate here for the first time and we were really impressed! There are many breakfast options and some are quite inventive. All of us had different dishes and all were very good. No complaints at all. None of us had the buffet ; we all had food ordered specifically from the menu. The service was fast and attentive. We'll stop in again when we're in the area. Highly recommended.Thank you so very much, Itinerant_Foodies, for your wonderfully written review. We are pleased to hear that all four of you enjoyed a wide variety of items from our extensive menu. We sincerely appreciate your kind words and will share them with our staff. We hope your next visit back to us will be soon. Thank you.

Service was over all good.I wait a while to go back...Oh btw, cheese curds portion should be doubled for what theyâre charging for them...

This Coffee shop was better than all the big name Coffee Shops. They have healthy snacks, soups and even gluten free wraps. I love the music and the local art that is for sale. I was only in town over night and ate their twice. Why try other cafe when you find one this good. Great coffee too!

My wife and I along with other family members have eaten a Skoogâs a number of times. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu selections. The service at times has been somewhat slow and some of the menu variations have been just okay. Overall a very nice place for dinner.

They have breakfast all day which the kids think is great. I love their soups. Huge selection of food. Almost too many options. But everything I have had has been good.

When you arrive at Lucette, you may be taken aback as they have done a great job at building a destination Brewery and restaurant. A beautiful building and grounds, designer interior, Edison style lights, designer tile on wood-fire pizza oven and around the kitchen. As we spent time here though, the luster lost it's sheen quickly. I ordered the "hoppy" flight of four ($12) and missed my chance to include the "Big Hoppa" so I asked for a sample of it, ($4). Outside of the Big Hoppa, I found their beer to be a major let down. Kind of over priced, not well composed, a miss for my palate. Their Pizza creations though were quite good, we ordered up the "Muppy" ($13) and it is what i would call "Designer" Pizza but very fitting for the surroundings and well done. We sat at the bar, and unfortunately grabbed a seat in front of the register/computer. We were greeted by one server picking her nose while she closed out a tab, a full digit up in there, but mostly just a congregation of servers complaining about various things and making plans for their days off. Not usually a big deal, besides the nose picker, but it took over our conversations which isn't what you'd hope for at a place like this. I'd go here for the atmosphere and the pizza, but wish you could bring your own beer. It really has a vibe of a nice winery.

Seriously, Waterfront has the best fish fry weâve ever had. Portions are generous, fish is delectable, good tartar sauce and coleslaw AND the best is that asparagus is one of the sides! Delicious! Wait staff is friendly and the beer and drinks are great. Hands down, the best place to go for fish fry! (And their other food is good, too!)

We stopped here on our way camping, helpful hint...if hauling a camper or trailer, go about 2 blocks past restaurant and take a right, there was plenty of parking space on the road there, short walk to restaurant. We had really good food, my salad was so fresh and husband stated it was the best french dip he had! Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Service was good.
