While my husband and our hiking buddy feasted on more traditional Irish food, I was quite pleased with the green salad with salmon! The salad was nicely garnished with capers. I had the fresh squeezed lemon and olive oil dressing (the only two ingredients!) on the side. Very tasty and satisfying. Since I have many food intolerances, I'm used to eating salads when we dine out, but this was one of the more creative ones that I've had.Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review!

Great restaurant with an attentive staff. We shared the duck wings as a started even my super picky daughter enjoyed them. I have the chicken cordon bleu with fired brussel sprouts..amazing!!! Only two slight dings keep this from 5 stars.. 1. Kids menu might be standard but the accoutrements are far from what most kids would eat. 2. Parking can be a bit of challenge on Friday night given it shares a general parking lot with a few other businesses. Good luck and enjoy

Great full of flavor burgers and fries. Server Chad was attentive with a great personality.Varied menu with lots to select from . There is a very nice bar in the front, but the restaurant is very family friendly. Casual setting in a old bank building. You can request dining in the vault for a special occasion. Parking in small lot in the back has handicap accessible from the rear of the building. Deck is on the back for use in nice weather. All and all a very pleasant dining experience

6 of us dined here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Had reservations and were seated immediately.Waitress was attentive and came around often. Onion rings are not what you would expect. They are just crispy fried onions like the dried ones you would sprinkle on your salad just warm.Calamari was very flavorful, we enjoyed that appetizer.Steaks and Filets were cooked to order, no complaints. We had a Birthday at the table and they allowed us to bring in our own cake. Very much appreciated! Thank you brown Derby.Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.Excellent value! We usually spend well over a hundred dollars for the two of us on a meal like this and we got out of there for $66.14 not including tip.

Stopped here for a late lunch based on reviews, and were not disappointed.Small dining rooms; expansive menu (the same for dinner?); friendly staff.The fish tacos (perch here in OH) were just excellent. Two crisp filets, not overloaded with cabbage or sauce, and served with just-less-than-al dente asparagus & fried rice. The stuffed Hungarian hot peppers were just "hot", and nicely complemented the sauce. Lots of sausage, and not filled with breadcrumbs or other fillers. Well worth reordering.Prices were right; service was excellent; we'll go back.Would be a "5" if the dining room floors weren't so completely sticky that they tried to hold on to shoe soles. A small but indicative shortcoming to an excellent restaurant.

I had heard mixed reviews on the new ownership of Dan's so I decided to see for myself. Thankfully the decor is the same aside from one major thing. They don't have their jukebox anymore, which was a staple of the old diner I grew up with. I understand that it was probably very old but it was one of my favorite things about Dan's Dogs and it's entire atmosphere. When I asked if it was gone for good, they said it was. The food was noticeably different to me. The hot dogs seem significantly smaller than they used to be, and a bit more expensive (still very inexpensive food though!). They were still good but not the same. This is surprising mostly because the last switch in ownership didn't change the food at all. Anyway, as someone who grew up coming here my whole life, Dan's Dogs changed quite a bit under the newest owners but I'm sure for people who have never been, they will like it just fine.

Would give 4.5 stars if TripAdvisor allowed 1/2 stars. Service was very good, prompt and attentive without being clingy. Our server was exceedingly knowledgeable about the menu as well. Food was very good, great flavor combinations, pleasant presentation and perfect portions (no ridiculously large portions, excellent sizes). We will definitely be back to this gem in Medina.

Four of us dined here. All food was delivered by a 16 ish runner in a T shirt. The calamari was accompanied by three different sauces which were not explained. Dinner was delivered and when we told her that we didn't have forks, she dumped 4 complete setups, filled up in napkins in the center of our crowded table. Two of us had Walleye, two had Prime Rib. Lots of Panko on the Walleye. Both decent but unremarkable. Portions are very generous, especially the sides. Dinners come with a nice salad as well. Wine list is quite limited. Worst Old Fashioned that I have ever had.Plenty of other options in the area at this price point. $$$.. We will not return.Sorry to hear about your experience, that is not the norm at Timber Lodge. The runners are young adults that we hope to groom into servers some day. The t-shirts are for lobster season that lasts a couple of months, otherwise they are in button down shirts and tie with an apron. We continue to work on the wine lists and it has grown in the last few months, sorry we didn't have what you were looking for. Other restaurants keep huge inventory of wines and have to charge 3 times the cost to the consumer because of the large cost in having such a list. We price our wines not far off of retail so our customers and friends can enjoy wines that are much more expensive at other places. No restaurant in the area can beat our price point as you mentioned as you pay for the salad and sides that we include and our dinners that are priced lower, and we all buy the same meat and seafood as they do. We strive to beat expectations and sorry we didn't live up to your expectations.
