My husband is on a no lactate, gluten diet and going to chain restaurants is always a challenge. When we told the waitress our problem she told us they have gluten free bread. My husband had a California Burger on this bread and he was thrilled. I had a huge fish sandwich.

Another fun visit to Bru right there in the heart of Cortland. Love the look and feel of the room--lots of tables with places to 'plug in' to the internet world and free wifi. Great coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. They offer beer and wine at night too!

The best part of this restaurant is the Hollywood decor--the entire place is filled with movie posters and photos, and there's a life-size statue of Marilyn Monroe, in the classic airdraft-lifting-her-dress pose, in the center of the dining room. The food, however, is just okay.I had the veal parm, and was disappointed. This wasn't a veal cutlet, it was breaded, pressed chopped veal meat that was soft enough to easily break off bite size pieces with a fork, no knife necessary. The tomato sauce on the veal, and on my side of capellini, was very ordinary and might have come from a can. My side of mixed vegetables was better than the rest of the meal, as it consisted of yellow beans, green beans, and carrots and appeared to have been roasted. Overall, this was a meal of average diner quality, and truthfully, I've had much better meals in diners. That's not to say that it was bad. The prices here are moderate and if you are looking for a budget meal and don't have high expectations, the Hollywood will suit your needs fine. Service was friendly but our server made no effort to refresh our beverages. There is off street parking available.

AJ's is the kind of place every small town or city should have. Open early, friendly waitstaff, and easy to find. It's only open for breakfast and lunch. We went for breakfast. Two of us ordered eggs, home fries, and toast. Another member of our group got a waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. We also split an order of hash. Those items plus beverages came out to less than $25. The price is a part of the reason for the rating. It's cash only but there is an ATM if you forget.

We checked in to our hotel in Cortland, New York - just off I-81 - tired and not at all interested in getting back into the car to find a place for some dinner. The Front Desk recommended several restaurants places that offered good food, delivered to the hotel ...we chose Brix Pubaria as it had a more versatile take out/delivery menu. We called to order - were told 40 minutes - food came sooner - and we want to let Trip Advisor readers know that the wings and fries were excellent...extra crispy hot, wet wings with blue cheese...and excellent fries too. It was exactly what we needed after a long day in the car. The young man who delivered our food was polite and said delivery to our hotel was free from his restaurant - so do make sure you tip generously for this extra service you receive.

Loved this place. Great food, Great staff, great value. Everything is fresh and delicious. The whole place has a really warm comfortable atmosphere. Bar tender Nick was unforgettably fun. So was the rest of the staff we met. Made me want to move to Cortland.

Plenty of parking (paved), met upon entry by female hostess and seated, a friendly and personal waitress served us, large selected on the menu too choose from, ordered but waited a lengthy time too receive our orders, heathy portions, seat custion needed replacement since it was taped, women's room was filthy but men's room clean except garbage receptacle was over flowing and needed to be emptied, friendly personalities from all staff encountered, reasonable prices and delicious food. With a little elbow grease in cleaning this could be better but still a chain Perkins!

I had been hearing people rave about Hairy Tonyâs. When a friend was coming to Cortland, my spouse suggested we check out Hairy Tonyâs. I checked Trip Advisors for information about the menu and the reviews. When my friend arrived and gave me the information I needed, she said she had to head right back home so I invited my spouse and we walked to the bar. We were shown to a nice table close to the front window. After we ordered drinks, we asked the wait staff (Dominique) about the Nachos Muy Grande whether or not it was enough food for two. She said it would come in a paella pan. When it came, it was huge and, as we were eating, we realized it was not only delicious but much too much for us to eat at one sitting. Dominique had come by several times to see how we were doing. We asked for a take-away box and brought about half of the meal home. The items on the menu looked wonderful and we will be back.
The Grindstone Cafe will remind your taste buds of Grandmaâs home-cooking with all the sweet aromas. We use our innovative recipes from our founderâs, New Hope Mills, and create delicious culinary delights to make breakfast and lunch easier to enjoy both
Awesome breakfast. Chocolate waffle was wonderful. Will definitely go there again. Friendly staff. So many delicious choices. Thanks so much for stopping in! We really appreciate your feedback and your review! Hope to see you back soon. :)
