I was told about this place by a friend who raved about the Benedict. However, they come with cheese sauce instead of hollandaise so you have to substitute. They were delicious! I also went later that week for supper and had the french dip sandwich which was also incredible!

Comfortable bar & grill just a little east the main downtown area. The food was great, the service excellent. Outside dining available overlooking the Rock River.
We stopped for lunch; we could have been outside, but we chose to sit inside. 'has a view of the river; quite a few tables. Inexpensive menu.

Ginger's Hideaway is a family friendly place that offers you great food at great prices. The bubbly staff always makes you feel welcomed and accommodates your every need. The rustic theme that we have will go great for any event you wish to host.
Traveling through Horicon in mid-July, we spotted this bar/restaurant while stopped an intersection.....we decided to take and look and parked around the corner....we were "wowed" by the size and niceness of the place, with separate dining area if desired....we elected to sit at the bar. My wife had a Reuben, which she said was excellent, and I had a "Build-A-Burger", which was also top-notch....I also added the "Onion Tanglers" which were terrific.
Stopped for lunch at his eatery located right on main street. Small but well organized place with large variety of ice cream, specializing in sub sandwiches. Order taken by very nice and polite young lady. Had the house special and it was huge. One half was plenty for lunch. Will get another lunch on another day from that single creation. Establishment seems to be patronized mostly by locals. One lower table and five high tables each seating four. Soda dispensing machine; water available in separate container. New age music playing at time I was there.
It was exactly what we expected. We did get a laugh out of their sign boasting that they have round pizzas. Wow, those are unusual!
This place has very good pizza, good size and plenty of toppings and the garlic bread is good to! Nice friendly staff!

Backstreet cafe has delicious breakfasts for a reasonable price. One of the omelettes (Cody's All in One) has ham, cheese, and hash browns inside, and for some reason this tastes way better than a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns on the side. Their fried chicken is also delicious - crispy and hot. Also a plus is that the kids meals are inexpensive.

On a nice May afternoon we stopped at the Kekoskee Cooper Shop Saloon for lunch. This is a real cute place located overlooking the Rock River. We had a group of around 20 motorcyclists that had pre-arranged this stop. Most of us chose to dine on the deck overlooking the river, which had a very nice view. Our server was very cordial and attentive, considering the size of our group. Our drink orders were taken promptly and we were provided with the menus and a list of specials. I ordered a wrap and my date ordered a taco salad. We were both disappointed with our choices, as they were marginal at best. This is a cute place for lunch, but maybe a burger may have been a better choice.

The Wisco is an Old Fashioned Supper Club located in Le Roy Wisconsin. Featuring Friday Night Fish Fry and Saturday Night Steaks and Prime Rib. Great cocktails!
I had seen this place on line and wanted to go for the sat prime rib. but we had a boat ride planned and it went to 8pm and we didnt arrive until almost 8:30 pm so I wasnt sure they get us in. But they take orders right until 9pm. They were excited to have us join them and we were seated right away and wasnt long until we had our food. The new owners are a young couple, we fell in love with them right away. They went around making sure everyone was happy and well cared for.It was are 39th anniversary and they treated us with a after dinner drink which was as good as the food. .It a old fashion ,antique type feel place and decorations out side are just as beautiful as the interesting feel inside. Lighting was perfect and gives a romamntic feel. I order the seafood- steak and lobster and the steak was seasoned and perfectly done and lobster melted in your mouth. My husband had the prime rib also superb. We loved this place and wished it was closer to home so we could become regulars. But we will diffinitly see you again when were back in this area.Hi...So good to read this. We hope you enjoyed everything about your anniversary! memories are one of the most important things we can gain, so I am happy we shared one with you two! Thanks again so very much.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. Our breakfast bowls were creative, with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Another couple there were raving about the pancakes. The atmosphere is great. My husband was skeptical since it's inside a health food store. He thought everything would be vegetarian. It's not and he was won over for sure!
