OK, itâs not that this place is bad ... itâs just that itâs not âworthâ the price of admission! We went there and the menu, (a novel), to choose from and although the portions are quite big the bill is as well! The food tastes very good ... like I said ... its not bad. Enjoy if you like this.We are sorry that your experience was not better than average! Next time, if there is anything that can be done to improve your experience, please let our managers know so we can make things right while you are still dining with us. Thank you for your review!

The six of us enjoyed great meals. The eggplant Ricotta appetizer, and cauliflower pancake appetizer were superb. The wine selection is excellent. My arugula salad (I added Parmesan) was fresh and plentiful. I ordered the mussel appetizer as my entree and loved it. Except, my white blouse was not happy with the red sauce splash. The bread is warm and sweet..I loved it! One of my companions ordered the vegan gluten free pizza and it was the best he ever had and finished the entire plate. All companions were happy with their meals. Our raspberry sorbet was perfect. We will return. By the way, we ate up in the bar lounge and enjoyed the warm cozy atmosphere.

We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was OUTSTANDING. We also had the vegan chicken philly sandwich which was super-filling. Great fries too. We also ordered the tuna poke bowl; the order was incorrect but they fixed it. We ended up taking the whole bowl home since we were full. Drinks are also good. Love the atmosphere and artwork too. Weâll be back.

This review is limited by necessity. We didn't actually dine here. I merely stopped in for a quart of their bean "cassoulet." I shall say this, however: The place looks delightful, and their service was friendly and quick. Based on my limited experience, I would happily return for a full meal.Let's talk about the bean "cassoulet." She whom I love thoroughly enjoyed it. I was much less enthused, happily allowing her to consume my share of the seconds. The flavor appealed to her, but I found it too spicy for my unsophisticated palate. One note, though: A cassoulet often is used as a main course, but that would not be advisable with these somewhat watery beans. They were good as a side dish, but not as a feature attraction.Perhaps on a future trip to the Mayfield Village area, we'll stop in for a full meal. It certainly looks promising.

I like to root for mom and pop places. They tend to provide a level of personality and genuineness that the chains cannot match. So it pains me to say this place is only so-so. The food is good, yes, but nothing to write home about. It's a traditional deli, but there's a new Slyman's only 5 miles down I-271 with corned beef that is well above this. The service was lukewarm and the decor seemed dated without even a retro kind of charm. The price was on the high side.Sorry. I wish this place were better.

Order the Chili Chorizo omelette to go. I'm still looking for Chorizo, perhaps it was all in the title. Maybe I need a microscope?

My birthday dinner with a friend had been postponed due to schedule complications so we opted for a Black Friday meal away from shopping centers. An early dinner. 4 PM. Very few patrons at that time. Server was young, sweet, courteous. My friend ordered the wild mushroom meatloaf which looked delicious if one likes meat. I ordered a pasta of the day which came with marinara sauce over penne with chicken and mushrooms. We started with a shared appetizer of deviled eggs, which was the best part of the meal. In retrospect, I'm sorry I didn't order them as my entree with a side of something. The pasta, to my taste, was overly spicy for a "marinara" sauce. I brought home the leftovers for the overpriced $18 dish, but plan to salvage the pasta, rinse off the sauce and just have it with olive oil. At some point I inquired about bread which was never offered or presented. Oh yes, they have complimentary sour dough or their croissants are an additional $5. It seemed close to a half hour between the request and our server's next appearance, without the bread still. Of course by then dinner was about over. But yes, we would still like it, to help quell the fire from the hot sauce. She would "put the order in". It seems our request for something so simple was put in a line with other incoming orders. At least 20 minutes later a plate was delivered with 4 wedges of toasted bread (not sourdough as best we could tell, and which was described) sprinkled with parsley flakes and a cup of butter. It was a long while again before her return and we basically had to ask about dessert although she did ask about coffee. It seems there is virtually no variation in their unprinted dessert offerings. Our visits were far enough apart that I didn't remember how much they were not liked. Warm carrot cake with warm cream cheese frosting was recalled as not being enjoyable. My companion is no fan of Key Lime...there was one other unappealing choice along with the chocolate cake. We opted to share that. It was delivered on a huge platter by another person, without any utensils or additional plates. Come on people, it's flu/cold season nearly and you expect people to share from the same plate? BLECH! The requested items were provided and we used a fork to break the overly large piece of dark chocolate bundt cake. It was yes, dense and moist but really was more gummy and artificial tasting and I must remember this is not a place to order dessert ever. It was accompanied by a large scoop of ice cream and that would have been better, alone. I had a piece of chocolate cake from Wegman's at home that was 10 days old and it was far better. I guess, for me, it was just a poor menu choice. I know their chicken salad sandwich is quite good.

Breakfast so good, we leave dinner to others.
The five of us came to Scramblers for a late Sunday morning breakfast. We were quickly seated at a quiet corner table and promptly served. They have eggs in every conceivable style and form, accompanied with all the usual sides, breads, etc.... plus, French toast, waffles, sandwiches, you name it. The decor is as plain and unadorned as a Protestant church in New England, only sunnier. Tasty, fresh, and even with pretty good fruit.

Incredible matza ball soup! My husband and I donâtCleveland much but Jackâs is always a stop. Fresh, crisp pickles are fantastic! Not too garlicky- just right. Like crunching on a fresh cucumber. And that soup! Jewish penicillin as my mother used to say.

Lunch was fine. All four enjoyed their food. So it is a safe choice of corporate standardized steak house dining. No quirks. No fun in life. Long live Peter Lugar's.
