This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good food. We had shrimp with fries and barracho beans. Shrimp was very good, fries crispy and the beans were out of this world good. The menu has many choices. I commend the Chef who really presented a nice plate of food with care in the preparation of all. We will definitely return.

We've eaten here a few times before. It is nice to know that there is a professional chef in our area. That alone would be enough to cause the locals to visit. But....it is not 100.00 dollars worth of nice! That was with no wine and water to drink. Chipped paint, pitiful outside...rundown is the word. We had a fish dinner which was absolutely delicious. Everything with the exception of a side with the entree is ala carte.We're not talking water front view. This is the basically, largely run down town of Matagorda. I'm sure it is somewhat of a cutesy sort of thing for the big city folks, quaint, etc. So, if you want something delicious but pricey come on.I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner. I'm sorry that you were disappointed in the cost. All of our ingredients are fresh and made here in house. Let me know if you come back. I would love to talk to you. Thanks for your comments.

We took a drive to get away for an afternoon and had dinner here. Nice view of the harbor. They were out of flounder, but had tuna instead, quite nice. Definitely worth the drive ; ) They had some decent red wine too.

It was noon. My husband wanted lunch and I wanted breakfast -- they served both. Perfect! His steak fingers must've been good cause he cleaned his plate. I had a Spanish omelet and it was huge. I had enough to take half with me for breakfast tomorrow. Service excellent too. I would highly recommend this place.
