Find out what American restaurants to try in Mannheim. Baden-Wurttemberg’s second-largest city after Stuttgart, Mannheim lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers and is rare among German cities for its layout, a grid pattern (or “quadrates”) similar to those found in North America. The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace. Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. The city’s iconic water tower and its beautiful Luisenpark are must-sees.

It was perfect, best burgers in mannheim without comparison, the smell, the look and the taste of the burgers were unbelievable, the onion rings were one of the best I've tried so far. plus the treatment is good, they are really nice people.

Had one of their burgers while drinking at the Taproom across the road. The burger was very good - served medium - and their homemade whisky, honey and bacon topping is very tasty. The chips were a little on the greasy side but came with a very nice homemade chipotle mayo. Prices were reasonable for a proper burger. Would definitely eat there again.

This restaurant has two listings in Trip Advisor and unfortunately we looked at the wrong one that had four stars. Therefore I have rated both to spare others the same bad service experience. For more details, see the other listing under the same title.

I was really surprised how nice this place was inside. My friends and I got the burgers, we were disappointed that they couldn't make the burgers medium rare. The waiter said it was a law here that forbids it. But the burgers were still good. I paid 3euro extra for sweet potato fries and the basket it came in barely had any in it. The service was slow only because the waiter had too many tables and running around like crazy. The main redeeming quality about this place was the bread they gave out. It was freshly made to perfection with aioli sauce. Make sure you ask for it, our waiter never offered it to us but we saw other tables get it. This restaurant is also opened on Sundays and takes credit card so that was a bonus.
