My husband and I used to frequent the previous restaurant-occupant of Cinco's restaurant, so we expected that Cinco will offer the same "gourmet"-like food at affordable prices. We were mistaken. We left Cinco quite disappointed with the food and the service. Hope that they improve soon!

This McDonald's branch beats Starbuck's for over-staying customers who don't care if the place is already full. Most of these customers are students who will order the cheapest value meal available or soda or sundae and stay and chat or read books (maybe) or use their tablets/laptops even if the servers already cleaned their tables for other customers. We tried asking a group of students (I think) if they're done after their table was cleared. And the response was classic... with smirks on their faces, 2 of them stood up and ordered soda for the group! That's it, soda! I hope these branch survive in spite of these kind of customers they have...

The KFC is just outside the main gate of the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. Very popular with students. Nice and bright, and lively place. Chicken and other food consistently good and reliable.

Danielito's kitchen, being one of the newest restaurants set up in Los Baños, has an interesting concept wherein the dishes are not primarily under one culture. Their menu is composed of Filipino, European, American, and East Asian delicacies. However, the thing that enticed me to eat there recently was their unlimited korean barbecue promotion, which boasted unlimited samgyeopsal for Php 299 and unlimited galbisal for Php 399. Being a student, I personally found it to be aptly priced as it was not too expensive compared to other korean barbecue restaurants. Despite my issues with their waiting time and speed of service, problems that are understandable due to their lack of space and the quantity of their customers, the taste and quality of their food compensated for them. According to their employees, the lot of the current restaurant has been purchased, something I believe would greatly improve the quality of their service in the following years. As for more details regarding the food, I was immensely pleased with the authenticity of their samgyeopsal and lettuce, something that made me feel like I was in South Korea again. On the other hand, the rice, due to its lack of stickiness, could have been improved on as it was difficult to eat with chopsticks. Overall, the food was delightful and I hope to eat in Danieltio's Kitchen soon!

You'll love the Auntie Pearl's pizza! It's authentic. The pizza crust is hand-made/hand tossed, it's perfectly cooked with cheese and your choice of toppings. They have options to choose from. The place also serves Filipino food -- meat, fish, and vegetables are on the menu. The place is okay for vegetarians. They used to be Demarces Subd near UPLB gate, but moved to a new location along the National Hiway, Los Baños-Bay, Laguna road. Thank you so much for writing a very lovely review of our restaurant. We are back in the old location in Demarces LB...'hope to see you around!

It is a surprise for non-ELBI people to find a resto like Spice Jar in small town as Los Banos. The place to go when you want to satiate your craving for Tex-Mex treats. For tonight, our lovely Mother's Day treat include burritos, paella, burger, tenderloin steak, chili con carne, beef nachos and jalapeno/cheese sticks... all are great! Service is quick and superb! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is festive and family-friendly. They even have a play nook for young ones... i love that colorful wall which reminds me of the movie "Coco". For a family of 6, we spent a little less than 2k.

We ate lunch here during our trip to Mt Makiling and birding tour round Los Banos University. The food was fatty and uninspiring. Ordering is done via an ipad, so there is nothing very personal about the service, staff were kept busy swatting flies.
