We finally tried Norman - the restaurant at the cool new Skyview Motel. The whole place has a cool retro vibe. Itâs an intimate space with great booths where you can actually hear what your friends are saying. The menu is small, seasonal but packs a punch with lots of variety. I had the vegetarian power bowl (which I finished completely) while my friends had the organic roasted chicken, and another had the hanger steak. We took full advantage of the full bar with great cocktails. They also have a wine list with local and international options. I will definitely be going back.

After being on the road for over two weeks, we were getting a little picky with our menus and meals. Charlie's Restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. It has a good selection of American and Mexican dishes, salads, burgers, and meals. My husband said this was one of the best burgers he's had, and my half salad was delicious and huge. Indoor seating was limited to about 10, but they have an outdoor area for more people.

We have stayed several times, this is a very unique hotel sone so well in the 1880's style. We have met people from all around the world here. Very clean, and a place like no other.

Always comfortable, always delicious. I think of it as comfort food with a culinary twist. Never pretentious, nor too focused on hard to find ingredients; just good food, interesting combinations, in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Makes you want to make friends there.

Dinner in this down-home restaurant was a pleasant surprise. As far as I could tell we were the only non-locals here. The service was great and the food was very good.My wife had a taco salad which she said was "excellent." The flavor of the shredded beef was especially good and the 1/2 portion was plenty for her. My Ortega Burger was just fine, a quarter pound of well done beef thick with Ortega chiles and lots of lettuce, tomatoes, etc. We took home a couple of pieces of carrot cake, which were also excellent. Also, everything is fairly priced.

Bell's is a California inspired French Bistro by Daisy and Greg Ryan. They honed their skills in kitchens and dining rooms including Thomas Keller's Per Se & Danny Meyer's Gramercy Tavern in New York, The Beverly Hills Hotel & The Line Hotel in Los Angele
After having read the AAA article in a recent issue we made a point of stopping here on a recent Sunday. Arrived before lunch crowd and received excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu We shared an appetizer of cheese dry salami and awesome olives. Iâm not a big green olive fan but these were out of this world with a tasty citrus vinegarette. This was followed by their famous egg salad sandwich which we once again shared. Not your run of the mill egg sandwich for sure! With 2 glasses of wine we were too full for dessert but the options sounded wonderful. A little pricey for lunch but what the heck when youâre on vacation!

The chef is imaginative, consistent food quality, great service, distinctive wine list and bottle shop. Located in an old General Store, Pico offers a hide-a-way, but local vibe with unique menus like Sunday Night Burger night. Not just a burger, but a beautiful GSM of meat!! Also, enjoy wine tastings and sommelier level classes by varietals. This is a fun, no fuss, great food, place to call home!

This place is set in a large barn with a huge pizza oven in the centre of the room. It has a cool vibe and serves delicious pizza. The base is crisp and delicious with a range of options for unusual pizzas. Interesting beer and wine menus and the lamb was also delicious. I would definitely go out of my way to eat here.
