I actually had a portion of a job interview here...for an engineering position. That says a lot about how clean and quiet this Starbucks can be. It may be located in the Smith's Grocery Store, but it is more than a counter to buy a cup of coffee. I highly recommend THIS Los Alamos location.
I stopped by this establishment to buy sandwiches for the moving men who delivered my household goods. I was struck by a severe case of vertigo on my way to the store. I must have looked like I was drunk when I walked into the store. I could not walk straight and I was reaching for walls and chairs for support. Someone from behind the counter came to my aide and helped me to a booth. As I wanted for the episode to pass, she took my order for 8 subs and filled it. They did not rush me off when the order was ready. They just allowed me to recover. I highly recommend this sub shop for the fresh good and compassionate counter service.

Experience unique, drive-in dining with made-to-order food and more than 1.3 million drink combinations.
Haven't been disappointed yet. A few trips there and orders are correct. Food is up to Sonic standards.

We met friends for dinner tonight. The service was great and they have a decent selection of craft beers. The food my wife and I got for dinner was less than average. My wife ordered the salad with shrimp. All the shrimp was undercooked, we had to send it back. I ordered the spaghetti. It was OK, nothing weird about it ; however, the pasta and sauce ONLY cost $10. If you want to add meatballs it's an extra $4, and they are small! The waitress did not tell me that the meatballs were extra. Probably won't return any time soon.

This place is basic. There are no thrills or frills. There is no class. This place has basic pizza and subs. There is a gaming room. I would avoid this place if you are older than 16.

We ate here on a Saturday night in mid-July. Typical of most brewpubs, it was noisy. My husband ordered two different beers and fish and chips. I wasnât very hungry and asked if it was possible to order from the childrenâs menu. This was allowed, and I was appreciative. I chose mac and cheese with a side of mashed potatoes. Shortly thereafter, our server returned to say the menu had changed, and the potatoes were no longer available. She listed some choices, and I opted for grilled veggie kabobs. I thought the side was included in the price but later discovered that it was billed at $3. From the menu, it looked like a bowl of ice cream came with the meal, but it was not offered. Perhaps since I didnât meet the childrenâs age requirement, I was charged more. Bill with tax and tip came to $44.

That's not to say that is great. It's just somewhat better than OK. Los Alamos is not known for great restaurants. My wife likes their Salmon Salad. The Salmon is always cooked perfectly. I like their New Mexico Dip Sandwich which is essentially a French Dip with green chile. If you must eat in Los Alamos you will find a decent meal here for an OK price. The service staff is great. I have never tried their drinks, so I can't comment on that.I'm being generous with the 4 star rating, but it's above 3, maybe 3.5.
