Great place for a casual meal in the small town of Rocklin - near Sacramento. Very large room with friendly, prompt service. Ham steak and eggs are a specialty, and the chicken fried steak is pretty darned good, too.
What do you review a breakfast place on? The Cleanliness, the food, the quality of service, the atmosphere, friendliness of staff and customers. If youâre a big eater the quantity of food. All of these are 5 stars at Granite Rock Grill. Itâs a mix of good ol home cookin like homemade Biscuits & Gravy, Steak & Eggs, Pancakes w/ Bacon or Sausage and specialty stuff like numerous types of omelets, eggs Benedict, waffles with fruit and whipped cream. Your coffee is always topped off and you leave feeling like you are a regular that goes there all the time. You canât go wrong at Granite Rock Grill.

Located in a strip mall/shopping center. It's a popular place, and the wait was 5-7 minutes. We had attentive and friendly wait staff and the food was equally good. Of late, in our travels I see diners beginning to cut corners on food. Here, we dont have that, everything about made us happy. There's lots of places to eat in the area, but I recommend Four Sisters for a hearty, breakfast with quality staff serving you. Enjoy !

Located in an Industrial Center, this is another hidden gem. I have driven by this restaurant and never noticed it. Really, my brother-in-law told me about it. It has been in business 21 years. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Wow! My eggs and hash browns were just as ordered. My chicken fried steak took up another plate, covered with white gravy. Most of the waitress have worked there for years and know the menu inside and out. For the children there is a beautiful wall mural that has "hidden" characters on it. There is a list to mark off. What a great idea for kids and big kids too!. Kind of like "where's Waldo". Note: It;s just off Highway 80 but you may need a GPS to find it.

Food was nicely repaired. Wanted breakfast at 11 sharp but no consideration considering lunch has started as I was told. .

Pottery World is a great place for lunch! They have excellent food, diverse menu and the staff really rocks it out. They were very busy but they work so well together they move people through and yet you donât feel rushed. The ambiance is that of either an Italian or Spanish restaurant. Will go there again in a heartbeat!

A group of us went here for lunch. The servers were good, food was very good. Service was slow (45 minutes) but that might have been because we were a group. I would recommend this place. They're supposed to have great breakfasts also.

Great beers, great ambiance, wonderful owners/operators and staff. Great choice of locally brewed beers. Try them all.

The thing we immediately noticed was that, despite a full house for Saturday at brunch time, our reservations were met with prompt seating. The menu offerings are so plentiful and good sounding that choosing was tough. But that was the only difficulty we met with. The service was friendly and efficient, without giving us any feeling of being rushed. Our party of four made four selections. The salad chooser so enjoyed the large portion that she was eager to take home the half she couldn't finish. The one choosing a breakfast selection reported that his huevos rancheros was excellent (though he said it was not as spicy as he would have preferred). My wife was glad that she only ordered one half of the tri tip sandwich. It was the perfect size for a lunch, and the taste was great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a barbecue sauce that is wonderful. All told, we were very pleased with the leisurely meal. We were not even overwhelmed by the noise from so many people did not close down our conversation. This was the perfect place for an early 2019 review.

I have never had a better pulled pork sandwich. A generous portion with to-die-for bbq sauce. The potato salad wasn't as good--too much dill and not a sufficient portion. My friend had a grilled shrimp salad--very nice, but the dressing was quite ordinary. The service was excellent and the setting is magical.

Bennettâsâ mission is to create a "gathering place," in the neighborhood. Centrally located in Roseville off of Eureka and Lead Hill, we strive to be your home away from home by providing a convivial casual atmosphere, and a place where youâre treated lik
Interesting place-if you're looking for quiet-there's really only one spot-an odd enclosed room in the front of the restaurant. That was our choice so we could hear ourselves talk. We three had quite a tasting from the menu. Sister had margarita on the rocks-I had a blackberry frozen margarita. Both excellent. We ordered several small plates-artichoke fritters with lemon aioli, corned beef tacos, 3 dips with chips and polenta with mushrooms and marinara. The fritters were great-although fried were light and fresh. The tacos had tender corned beef, but needed more slaw to provide much needed moisture. The three dips-a salsa verde with avocado (need more avocado), roasted tomato and pimento cheese were all acceptable. The polenta was good-but we would have preferred it crispy rather than baked. Hubby had ribs and fried chicken with waffle fries for an entree. All were good, but a cup of slaw would be a nice addition. Sister and I each had chimichurri chicken. Both lovers of that sauce-this was not edible. It had a bitter taste to it which overan everything on the plate. The server removed them both after our comments and we shared another order of the chicken and ribs. I'd return (if in the area) and have a couple of small plates-but doubt I'd go down the hill from Auburn just to eat here. There's too many options with a higher success rate than we experienced.Looks like you enjoyed most everything, we look forward to seeing you when you are in the area.
