This is a quirky BBQ place located in an industrial area. Letâs get the negatives out of the way: Little nearly parking, you likely will need to park on street and walk. Be prepared to wait if you arrive around noon. Tables can be close and itâs noisy. That being said, the food is delicious and potions are good. Here are my favs: order a small salad with a side of sloppy joe meat or smoked turkey meat; or a baked potato either the fixings and your choice of meat. The staff is super nice.

Found in the heart of downtown lodi, we provide high quality dishes and handcrafted cocktails accompanied by outstanding service.
My wife and I were out for an Anniversary Dinner. We hadn't dined at the Rosewood Bar and Grill for awhile, so we decided to return. We both ordered an appetizer, salad, main course. Appetizer and salad were both very good. Main course was delivered, wife's Steelhead was prepared correctly, my petite filet was overcooked (ordered medium was delivered close to well). This happens so I asked the waitress to correct the issue. This is when the problem occurred. The waitress took my plate to be corrected by the kitchen and scurried-off. Leaving my wife the option of continuing to eat, without me having dinner or allowing her dinner to cool. About 10 minutes later the waitress shows-up with my prepared dinner. I held my words until the waitress came back by as we were finishing.I began to explain to the waitress, that it is not acceptable to leave one diner at the table with food while you are correcting a problem. Her response was "....what was I supposed to do?''' I told here that when you are correcting a problem, be sure and do not create a second problem and she looked puzzled. So, I asked for the manager. In speaking with the Manager. I suggested that some education in basic service was in order for service staff, as this was not a McDonalds. She apologized and offered to "Host Dessert", an awkward term at best. The Manager stopped by again after we finished dessert. I told her that that I do understand that the restaurant business is a challenge and that food loss is real, but sometime unavoidable. And in this case the choice was made to only correct the one dinner and not remake them both was very costly as I will not be returning to their restaurant for a considerable period. She looked surprised, because I did not make a scene about the issue I guess she assumed that "hosting" dessert satisfied my complaint, It didn't...â¦â¦..Good afternoon, Sir. Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for an unsatisfactory experience on your last visit. Rest assured, we are constantly training on improving our service standards in all aspects. We hope you give us another chance to regain your confidence in our business.

We were visiting wineries on a tasting weekend and we always asked for restaurant recommendations. Zin Bistro was usually one of them suggested and we were told that reservations were a must. As we arrived we quickly understood why as it did not have a big seating area and every table was filled. We were seated very promptly and service from start to finish was warm and friendly. We each had fabulous entrees along with a bottle of locally produced Zinfandel. It was obvious that it was popular spot for the locals and we were so glad we took everyone advice to enjoy a great dining experience.

Went there for dinner on a Thursday night... And the parking lot was full vintage cars and wonderful people. My wife and I chose to have a Papa burger and split a basket of onion rings. Great family restaurant

We were seated promptly and received fast, friendly service. The food proportions were more than enough and the taste and quality exceeded our expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the Poor Man's Benedict, which I highly recommend. The mimosa was served perfectly with the orange juice on the side. It was a very pleasant dining experience. We will definitely return when visiting the area again.

The menu and prices are very good, the service is excellent. Many choices of breads, meats, cheeses, soups, if you are in the Lodi area, you have to give a try. They have a deli with many daily selections.

The patio and grounds are charming. The food delicious but my business associate discovered a hair in his salad. Yuck. A peep in the kitchen showed us that their waitresses prep the salads. Add to that a wedding with smokers who decided to puff nearby and I could not give a 5 despite the most wonderful clam chowder and delicious Salmon. I would ask questions when you make your reservation about groups on the grounds.

Love the antique decorations and the beer equipment of the place. Great service with good food and average beer. I had the Hazy beer and it was average for a New England style IPA. We had the Ruben, salmon and blackened shrimp tacos. The tacos were outstanding and the rest was good. Portions were large and the prices were reasonable.

A family run place where Mom is the Baker, Dad is the winemaker, Sons are the Brewmaster, manager and chef. All breads are stone milled on site using organic grains and soups made from scratch. Wines are certified sustainable from estate grown grapes. Bre
We stopped for lunch while downtown wine tasting and there was long wait so we opted to sit outside in the 90+ degree heat. Probably a bad option as we didn't finish half our food and nothing tasted great. The folks were very friendly but alas they didn't want to go outside either Good for a lunch bite, nothing special. Avoid the pizza the crust was way to dense.

Visited here w/daughter and grandson, we had an amazing tasting breakfast, it's popular here, so they were buzy, but the service was exceptional. We were concerned about having a stroller, we wanted to wine taste, I'm am so glad we ventured past the little gift shop into the wine tasting area. The grounds are beautiful, ponds, private tasting areas, and a little kids play area with store fronts for the kids to walk through and have pictures taken. They have a flower garden are next to a seating area, seating areas near the ponds. One of my favorite wineries in Lodi. Oh yes, we purchase wine after the enjoying the wine tasting, that area is nice and roomy too. Hmm, I think a little wine trip is in my near future!!!
