After renovations, The Fiddlers Green has really improved the atmosphere here. The bar has all of your favorite beers on tap and a full drink menu. The waitstaff was very attentive and checked back with us frequently. They have really enhanced the menu with a variety of meals that will appeal to everyone. Much more here than just fried up bar food. I had possibly the best hamburger I have found in Lindsay, trumping my previous burger review. My other half had a roast beef au jus that was to die for, she ate every last bit and really enjoyed it.Well worth dropping in for lunch or dinner and a drink. My only wish is that they add Guinness to their beer offerings.I will be going back.

This place sounded great and is all the rage according to Facebook. I came twice and found it closed in the last 2 weeks so was excited to find it open for lunch. The atmosphere is very pleasant and clean with a nice decor. Some great local treasures for sale and an area for young kids to entertain themselves. I walked up to the counter and asked the young lady âwhatâs for lunch?â âOn the clipboardâ she replied The menu looked interesting and I settled on a Tur-Bacon sandwich. I asked her âwhat is the soup of the day?â âOn the chalkboard â she replied. Turkey vegetable it is. You pay before they make it $17.49 for a soup sandwich and drink. I must say the soup was terrific! Wonderful flavor and lots of Turkey and carrot obviously not processed or from a can. It was weird eating it with a teaspoon. The sandwich was another story... again obviously fresh meat and toasted lovely. But small and dry not at all the ooooy goooy gourmet I was expecting. The table beside me also ordered the Tur-Bacon and I could hear them commenting on thier disappointment. The service was very disappointing. For the price I expected much more.

Visited Subway saturday, this location is busy the staff did an excellent job of serving all customers in a timely fashion. The subs were really good the vegetables were fresh and they added plenty, we didn't have to ask for more.

Took the family for dinner! Everything from the service, the appetizers to our main meals was great! Hot and served at the right time and plenty of food! My wife and I went to Neabor's for a family dinner with my parents. The waitress we had was very nice but was waiting on quite a few tables and was therefore not able to come by as frequently as we would have liked. For dinner, my wife had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes with vegetables. She enjoyed the meatloaf but the potatoes were very dry and the vegetables tasted like they were from a can. I had the chicken and rib combo. I quite enjoyed the ribs but found the chicken to be dry. I also was not a fan of the soggy vegetables on the side. It has a warm atmosphere and is reasonably priced. We would consider going back but would like to try something different on the menu.

We like The Grand a lot. They have a great menu. Loads of choices and prices are reasonable compared to other similar style restaurants. Our recent visit was to celebrate a birthday. We all ended up ordering the Haddock Fishân Chips as it was the special of the day. Great price and were delicious with generous portions and came with coleslaw. Highly recommend their garlic bread with cheese too. Best I have ever had in a restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive as always. They even provided the birthday boy with a special dessert that was on the house. Looking forward to our return.

I came here for a birthday party and was very impressed by the menu. The drinks were delicious!! The atmosphere was nice. The decor was chic. St Dave's has an excellent breakfast, lunch and now dinner too. They have extended their hours to include a full dinner menu. There is a breakfast buffet or you can order off the breakfast menu if you would rather. Great food at great prices and always very friendly service.Thanks so much Paul for a great, and detailed, review - just note that the Breakfast Buffet is available on weekends only. Look forward to seeing you again soon!

This is probably one of the best places in the Lindsay area for breakfast. A vast menu caters to many diets and tastes. You may have to wait to be seated on the weekends but its worth it.
