Chicken or the egg? Chicken is the answer! We stopped in to grab something to eat at the picnic tables at the beach. The chicken, beans and slaw were great. Lots of other choices at the deli. The chicken was suprisingly tender.

Great Breakfasts , lunch and dinner served too
Upon the recommendation of a local we stopped in at Bush's for breakfast on the way home from a wedding. OMG that was the best breakfast ever ! Generous sized portions and must be cooked with that magic touch. Delicious. Absolutely perfectly cooked eggs, perfectly cooked everything .Our compliments to the lady chef. Our server was quick, kind and attentive. We could have drank a gallon of their coffee, so tasty ! Might be worth a visit up there again, and again, and again...

Serving a delicious combination of great-tasting burgers, hot dogs, french fries, fried mushrooms, onion rings and frosted mugs of famous A&W Root Beer(R)--all from the smiling faces of friendly car hops.
Waitresses take your order from your vehicle and bring your food on a tray that clamps on your window. Just like the good old days. You can also dine in or on the patio. Nice location by Lake Huron, just North of the 4 corners in Lexington. Walking distance from downtown. Great ice cold root beer in a frosty mug!

Ate here about 3 times. Restaurant has been incredibly busy every time but really did not have to wait that long. If you enjoy old fashioned experience of eating in your car and waitresses wearing roller skates, this is the fast food place for you. You can also eat inside if it is too hot. Prices are average and they have a good selection of menu items. I liked the fact you could get a "diet" A & W root beer here.

We had salads, two Michigan Cherry Salad with additional chicken breast, grilled and an Asian Chicken Salad. Both were quite delicious with perfectly cooked, succulent, moist chicken. Lots of tourists were eating but it seems like a local hangout. Interesting wall decor.

We heard both pros and cons about the Cadillac House in Lexington so we decided to try it for breakfast. I called ahead because I couldn't find a breakfast menu online and the restaurant representative said they had a full breakfast menu. The dining room had been recently renovated and it felt a little like a "model home," all new, but trying to feel somewhat historic. It was a little plain. It was a cold morning, but the fireplace wasn't operating. The service was somewhat standoffish, just not warm and welcoming. After being presented with a one-page menu, and asking questions about gluten-free options, our server didn't seem knowledgeable about the choices. There were very few people there, yet our server took quite a while to come back. My husband decided on the Quiche, somethings they're known for, and when we finally ordered, the server informed us that they didn't have that anymore. When she left the table again, we decided to leave. Of course, we can't review the food itself. :(

We loved the friendly staff and the open atmosphere. They offer a nice selection of their own brews as well as wines from local wineries. The menu is small but there is something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. We sampled three beers that were all good.

We had a group of 35 family members who prearranged a meal at The Village Pub. The wait staff was ready when we arrived. The service was great, the portions were large, and every person I spoke with said that their food was delicious. Thanks you for a pleasant experience.

We were in town for the afternoon for a craft show. We've walked by the Windjammer many times in the past, but never really thought about going in. We were quite surprised at the unique decor inside. We were promptly greeted and led out to the deck. Our server brought us drinks and menus right away. We waited a bit before our order was taken, but the service was better as we went on. My husband had a fish sandwich and I had the wedge salad. We had bruschetta for an appetizer and a couple of drinks. It was all very good. We will definitely return.
