They serve breakfast all day. I had the pancake special and it was great. Huge thick pancake that was cooked right. Bacon was also cooked right, nice and crispy like it should be. Four slices of long thick bacon. Delicious. Service was good. We had an early dinner so the place was pretty empty. Decor was nice. Smells a bit of smoke but not uncommon in Wyoming. Others in our party had an omelette, and chicken strips. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. Credit cards accepted. Plenty of parking right across the street in a gravel lot. I recommend.

Ordered the sampler platter - deep fried deliciousness. Followed it with the Indian Taco (house special). The Indian fry bread was outstanding. It was loaded with cheese, taco meat and beans, lettuce, tomatoes and served with sour cream and salsa on the side. Of course, we got the large one. Mouthwatering... Dovonne, our server, was excellent. Would definitely go back.

If you want a piece of history, visit the Mercantile. The food was wonderful, the beautiful wood bar came out of a brothel in Lander and adds to the atmosphere of a saloon in the late 1800s. Historical pieces are found throughout the bar/restaurant preserving some of the past of Atlantic City's gold rush years. We shared the place with local ranchers as well as groups of people that were biking through the pass. This is on my my all time best pick list!

Started the day here before hiking Popo Agie trail- this is not just Juice and smoothies. All assortments of wraps and burritos salads and sandwiches. Highly creative GF and V options. All the ingredients were fresh. You want fruit, veggies, eggs, steak, freshly-made power bars? Itâs here. We enjoyed breakfast so much we came back for lunch after the hike and before heading on to Jackson.

We had lunch here passing through Lander on our way to Flaming Gorge NRA. Nice old college town burger n beer atmosphere. The burgers were good, the draft beers cold and inexpensive. The service by the bartender wasn't friendly, but wasn't bad. The table next to ours had a mixed group of about 6 locals who were dropping the "F" bomb like they were the only people in the place. Crusty. Plus / minus. A different time may have resulted in a better experience.

When I am in Lander I stop by here on the way back up the mountain. Sandwiches are good but the service has a bit to be desired. Granted that we stop by on an "off" hour, 3pm-4pm. After buying supplies to go back up the mountain, but why is the staff so grumpy? I understand that all of their friends are outside chatting, but are they there to socialize or work? Just sayin that maybe management can clear the rift-raff off the patio during business hours...

The Lander Bar is widely known throughout Wyoming and around the world as one of the few bars left that still offer a little bit of the flavor of the Wild, Wild West. Easily the busiest, most popular watering hole in town, the Lander Bar attracts a wealth
After we ordered our lunch at Gannett Grill, we walked over to The Lander Bar and ordered a couple of beers to drink with our lunch. Bartender was very knowledgeable.

New restaurant in Lander.. open only for breakfast and lunch.
On our return from Yellowstone NP, we stopped in Lander for lunch at Middle Fork because of the positive online reviews. It was definitely a delightful experience. We opted to dine indoors, but the outdoor area looked nice with several patrons enjoying it. The menu had a nice variety of both breakfast and lunch entrees. My wife and I opted to split the deli sandwich, and we're glad we did. Half of the sandwich was plenty, and it was very fresh and delicious. The menu proudly stated they use local ingredients, and the flavor and freshness backed that up. For dessert we selected beignets, and they were better than any we had tasted in New Orleans. The wait staff were all young, friendly and enthusiastic. They greeted us as if we were locals, and the locals really seemed to enjoy dining there. Several were obviously regulars. The prices were very reasonable. The entire experience brightened our day on a long journey. We highly recommend Middle Fork to anyone passing through Landwr.
