We were looking for both a good northwoods experience and a walleye dinner. So, after receiving a recommendation decided to try Lannyâs. Oh my goodness, this hit 5 stars on all the marks. First, the atmosphere was classic northwoods, very warm and cozy decor. The food was incredible. I had the walleye and my husband had shrimp. They start you out with some crostiniâs and 3 kinds of spread, plus an additional very tasty spread on a piece of crostini. Dinners come with warm bread, soup and salad, and a side( ff,baked potato etc.)And, I canât say enough about the wait staff. Everybody was friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great dining experience . I would definitely rate this a real gem and unexpected find. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Kris, Mark and staff for your hospitality, hard work and delicious meals! The Friday fish fry is awesome and breakfast is top notch! We look forward to our multiple stops at the Forest Lake Country Store each time we visit Land O Lakes.

We came with guests from Germany for the traditional Friday Fish Fry. Wonderful northwoods atmosphere, starting with an Old Fashioned in the bar. Our service was very good. Our waitress was fun and was very attentive to our guests. Food was mainly traditional fish fry (all you can eat)- though the addition of some tasty beans was a good extra. Liked it.

Went there with expectation that for dinner we would have some choices for dinner-fare. Not necessarily the case. Don't get me wrong there are many options available but as titled here this is a beer bar and one should not expect more than a beer bar menu per say. The dinner and only one we noted available was the fried chicken which we both opted for. I ordered fries as did my husband and asked for additionally a second added on option of coleslaw. The young lady never told us it came with coleslaw hence had two delivered to my meal and was charged accordingly. Didn't make a stink about it as she was new and besides not being thrilled with the place decided to pick my battles! Anyway the chicken was alright - she said it was broasted - it was fried. The bar fills up nonstop as for the pub tables - they had a few folks there besides ourselves. We ordered an appetizer of chicken quesadillas and it was a large serving and decent. All and all I got it out of my system to go here as we go up there throughout the summer especially and I'd always wanted to try it. I did so based upon others reviews which I'll take the fifth on at this stage. Would I recommend it - if you want a beer and burger I'd suspect it's great - by the way I drink wine and as it was dinner was in the mood for just that - well the only choice here was Barefoot wines. I plead no further case - I had a beer!@

The Bear Trap Inn offers the traditional northwoods experience of the supper club. Our menu is diverse for patrons with specific palates.
Wanted to try somewhere new for a late dinner. The atmosphere is very Northwoods...fieldstone fireplace, animal wall mounts, view of the garden with duck decoys floating in the pond (!?). Food was good (just burger and chicken) and service was good. Will return and try one of their dinners...this time we were tired an$ it was getting late.

When you think of a Northwoods Supper Club.....The Twilight at 45 and E should come to mind! New Owners, Jim and Mary Kehoe welcome you! Built in the 1940's and serving traditional Supper Club fare: Friday Night Fishery, Saturday Night Prime Rib (while it
Visited in September when they were only open open Friday night for fish fry. Don't know why they even bother to open for one night a week and the food was just okay. After purchasing the Twilight last July, we have expanded our hours and days of operation. It has been a challenge to get the word out, that we are open more, after the very limited hours previously. We've been open Wednesday-Sunday all summer. Currently working on our Fall schedule, and may keep the same hours, as long as we remain busy enough to keep our staff on. We've also worked on improving and perfecting our menu, and think you'd find our food is excellent now! Please come back and give us a try! We'd love to serve you!

Our family recently enjoyed dinner and drinks at this restaurant over the Fourth of July Holiday and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the drinks at the bar and the staff is very nice and helpful. Our bartender Stephanie is the best and enjoyable. She made our Old Fashions the way we like them :) The food is also very good as I had the Rib Eye Steak, and another had the B roasted Chicken, and shrimp....all with salad and fresh bread....plenty to eat :) The BBQ ribs were also very tender and tasty. The wait was a bit long, but the holiday weekend is always busy, but worth the wait. We'll all return as the experience was the best :)

We dined her for the Friday night fish fry and loved the whole experience. I say experience because the location is great and the view of the lake while dining is a definite plus. I had the baked cod and it was delicious. All the extras were great too! A perfect destination to make your north woods experience complete. I will definitely return! Thanks for taking the time to review Bentâs Camp. We are glad you had a chance to visit our special historic 122 year old resort!

Great little breakfast place in the north woods. The food was very good, with great prices. The service was great. I got the English muffin sandwich and I really loved it. All the rest of my group really liked their food as well. Parking is really easy on the street and free.

Brew's Pub is a great place to watch your favorite teams on their four large screen TV's placed high on the wall above a long bar that offers a wide variety of drink options. Additionally, the food menu goes beyond just "bar pizza" to include a wide variety of typical American restaurant foods.
