Visited the new location at Buford. Great food and value as usual. I have tried carryout and eat in. The service is good. Very good tea. These people have been cooking seafood for a very long time. They are very good at it. This is old school fried seafood and chicken that is cooked to perfection. They have a good menu with good value. Try it, you will like it.

We had a big order after church, we hardly no wait through the drive thru. Food was great and hot. The area needs a good pressure washing on sidewalks and parking. Really dirty on that area. If looking for curb appeal, that's the only improvement needed, if looking for fast meal this is the place.

We're regular customers at CFA's and were passing through Lancaster and pulled through the drive through to order. I ordered a chicken strip meal and asked for a large drink; was told they were out of large cups and were not serving large drinks; the chicken strips tasted as if they had either been fried in old oil or reheated. I asked my wife to try them and she agreed. We have always been impressed with the high standards of CFA...food has always been hot and fresh and service top notch....but this was not our experience at the Lancaster restaurant. We won't stop at this one again.....but with that said we certainly will continue to patronize other CFA's.

We arrived at a slow lunch period. One waitress seated us, but then no one ever came to take our order. We finally flagged down someone and she said she thought the other waitress has taken our order. Then, a third waitress came to our table with the check. Confusing. I ordered a hot dog with chili, slaw and lots of onions. The hot dog had a little slaw and a little chili on one half with none on the other half and not one onion piece to be seen. I had to get the waitress to go back and bring me some onions. My onion rings were greasy and had an off taste. Not impressed at all.Hi Linda - Thanks for the feedback. I'm really sorry about your meal! It sounds like we were having a rough afternoon. I can assure you that this is not normal for us.In order for us to keep improving, we will be following up with our operator and waitstaff to ensure your feedback is noted, and appropriate actions are taken. Thanks for your patience. We hope we can try to make things right again. Best wishes, Andy Moore/Director for Customer Happiness, Hwy 55/[email protected]

So we have never had issues at Samdo's concerning patty size on the burgers but today they were really small. Other than that it was the usual great meal with the best fries in town...but because of the shrunken patties I will have to give it an average this time!

Jomars Family Restaurant

Reviewed By CharlotteTraveler7

This was our first visit to Jomars. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Good selection of Southern dishes. Good fried chicken. Potato salad was very good. Was very busy, but it was Sunday afternoon. Sunday prices are higher than mid week, and seemed a bit high to us, but seems to be the norm among buffet restaurants these days. We'll go back sometime during the week. I'll be curious to see if the midweek selections are similar to Sundays. The restaurant could use a little updating, but I'm giving Jomars a Good rating and we'll stop in again next time we're thru Lancaster.
