The Flip Side Cafe has consistently served excellent fare over the several times weâve dined there. Our dinner last night was no exception.I had the Crab Stuffed Carolina Trout. My husband had the Fort Mill Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. For dessert, Strawberry Shortcake and Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. The atmosphere is friendly with eclectic decor and a casual feel. My husband had a scotch, which was way over priced. Think Manhattan $$$$ in SC!There was just one problem, which we hadnât encountered before, and is why I gave a rating of 4 stars, not 5. Weâre attributing the issue to a momentary glitch. The service was, at best, haphazard. Our main courses were served before the salad, which was brought out about 5 minutes later. To be fair, the waitress, who brought the salad, did offer to comp it. I ended up taking it home. The couple next to us had no sooner started on their salads, when their main courses were brought to the table. Clearly, they werenât pleased, but all the waiter did was âplopâ them on the table and walk away.Several servers seemed to be involved in taking care of our table, but not in an efficient or particularly professional manner. As I mentioned, this hasnât been our experience before, and although detracting from what would have been a top-notch dinner, it wonât stop us from returning.

Late Breakfast, but the parking lot was packed. No waffles this trip but reasonably good eggs, ham and toast although the ham was a little too crispy for my liking. Serve staff very friendly. Place could have used a little house-keeping.

Christopher's Grill & Bar is a full-service restaurant and bar located in Lake Wylie, SC. In addition to our restaurant services, we also offer professional full-service and drop-off catering. See our menu for our daily specials including fish frys, taco
My husband loves Christopher's but I am never sure why. Service is downright poor, though friendly enough. Food is completely unexceptional -- though burgers can be good. Fried food can be very good or dismal, depending on how long it has been sitting. It is a decent place for families, not too noisy, but with plenty of televisions for watching sports.

Conveniently located on Lake Wylie, Papa Doc's Shore Club is the perfect spot for family and friends to dock and dine or break up a day at the lake. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail or one of our freshly prepared entrées while dining inside or on our spacious
We stopped by Papa Doc's for Saturday lunch because it was on our way home and it has a cool deck. We were seated immediately and got to look over the extensive menu. My wife had the fish taco and I had the crab and corn salad. The fish taco was sans-taco shell, so that was interesting. The flavors were good, though. My salad was large and had generous amount of shredded crab. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the people and watercraft out on the lake. It was an enjoyable, but a bit pricey lunch.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, to
Jim 'n Nicks was a nice experience. Hostesses were nice, seat was not under fan, temp. was comfortable. 6-7 TVs going with various sports shows going. Server was friendly, brought beverages quickly, took the order, and it wasn't too long before the food arrived. Quantities were plentiful, food was hot. Taste was fine, though the BBQ process is a firm believer in keeping the whole pig in the equation. Unfortunately chucks of fat in the BBQ are a quick turn-off for us and about a third was left on the plate or tossed later. Salad was crisp, potato was HUGE! So, go hungry. It's a nice place...just not a future date for us.

From the outside, one would not expect a good fine dining experience; but this little gem certainly delivers. How nice to find this caliber of restaurant in Lake Wylie--which has limited local options for anything more refined than fast food and sports bars/taverns. We were quite surprised at how busy the restaurant seemed (Good! We don't want this place going anywhere!) We were very glad to have had a reservation. My scallops were cooked to perfection! My goat cheese mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and I tried a bite of the beet mashed potatoes. They were also really good. That _is_ actually mashed beets and mashed potatoes mixed together, so it is pink in color and has a slight beet flavor. Surprisingly good and something we may decide to try at home sometime. For dessert, I had the creme brulee, which was nicely caramelized on the top. I also tried a bite of the cheese cake--also delicious, but I was happy with my choice. (I am partial to caramelized sugar. Mmm...)I am already looking forward to going here again.

Since Lake Wylie is mostly filled with fast food eateries, a more upscale but casual place like Copper is constantly full. And very noisy inside. That is why I recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. I have always enjoyed the food and the service. My favorites are any of the salads, lamb burgers, sweet potato fries, and sliders. The Greek sliders are unforgettable. Most people love the burgers. The beer choice is substantial. The prices are quite reasonable, considering portion size. Copper deserves at least a half.star more. I only gave 4 because of the noise. Go at off times if you do not want to wait.

This is a local place we can always count on for prompt, pleasant service and good food. Generally the managers stop by our table and ask if everything is good. Recently hubby had a black and blue burger with their awesome, crisp, homemade chips. I had the shrimp entree salad and requested blue cheese crumbles in lieu of the shredded cheese. It was delicious. The restaurant was packed since it was St Paddyâs Day, but service was still attentive. This is one of our go to places near home-never letâs us down.

Have gone 2 days in a row and have not been disappointed. They do a great job smoking their meats. The St Louis ribs were tender and delicious. The garlic chicken wings were very good. The sautéed garlic mushrooms were tasty. A must try are the fried squash - excellent.
