We wanted a quick meal and the ham and cheese and onion rings were fresh and hot. We also had a coupon which worked out great.

We ate here on a road trip and despite the Saturday brunch crowd the front of house staff made the wait tolerable and once seated our server was efficient, friendly and had the willingness to serve attitude so lacking in many chain restaurants. Our breakfast items were prepared to order and the cup of coffee to go an appreciated touch.

Stopped in for dinner with an old friend from school. Hadnât seen each other in over 25 years!Food was good, pretty much like every other Cracker Barrel Iâve been in.I had the Old Timers breakfast, friends had shrimp and a burger.Service was very fast and our waiter was friendly and checked on us regularly. All in all, canât go wrong and would go eat here again.

Good food and great service. A little pricey but not too bad. I had turkey sausage gravy and biscuits with 2 over medium eggs and home fries. Eggs cooked perfectly. Potatoes possibly the best Iâve eaten. Turkey gravy was different but good. Biscuits a little dry. My wife had waffle with bacon and eggs. She was very pleased. Not your typical southern breakfast but Iâll be coming again.

Decided to stop here for steak as an alternative to the abundance of turkey and ham consumed during Thanksgiving and numerous Christmas parties. Waitress was "new", but very attentive. Kinda pricey in my opinion, but overall the food was tasty and there was enough to take home a "go box" for another meal.

So, what makes a good family restaurant? Is it the food or the service or the kitchen staff or? The food was good. The service was good (under the circumstances...holiday weekend...wait staff out). The kitchen staff...good. The restaurant was busy...lots of families...kind of a zoo environment...too noisy. Overall...good. Prices are realistic. It's just good. Ah..well, that's it. Really...not bad. Sometimes you eat somewhere and you think..."wow". And sometimes it's just...ok. Such is the case here. Enjoy.

I always really like their sandwiches, but they seem to change them so often. (Specials) I go and find one i really like and next week it's gone. Not a huge fan of the roast beef, but anything that is the "Market Fresh", turkey and chicken is really good including the Rubens. 3 stars because horrible service by people that seem to wish you had not bothered them, and usually a little dirty, empty condiments containers with 3 or 4 running around doing nothing but talk, and text.
I drive by this place every day on the way to work and finally stopped in. The menu is mostly barbecue (ribs, chicken, fish), but they also have fried chicken, meatloaf and pot roast. They offered me samples before I ordered. I ordered pot roast with macaroni, green beans, cake and a drink for $15. Best macaroni Iâve ever had! 10% military discount. Closed on weekends.

I always eat at Jim and Nicks when Iâm in the are. Always generous portions and friendly service. This visit, there wasnât a greeter. All the servers appeared rushed and stressed. (It was one hour before closing). I had the hot links, turkey and brisket. The hot links were great as always. But the turkey was really dry and the brisket was fatty. Iâm chalking it up to being close to closing and Iâll still come back. The collard greens and Mac and cheese was fantastic!

I found this to be an all around middle of the road dining experience. The food was fine but not particularly interesting or memorable. Small selection of beers. Prices were inexpensive, so the meal offered pretty good value.
