The family camps at Davis Arm every year and its become tradition to swing over to twin lakes for showers and a meal. We sat on the outside back patio and watched the paddle boarders, oar boats and kids play in the water. Every year i forget the amount of food your getting and look at the price.. 10.95$ for a bacon cheese burger with fries! FORGET that. Now i know the fact we were on day 12 may have something to do with it.... But.. The burgers are the size of two grape fruits and the portion of fries as well... And So tasty! Not the average burger AT ALL! A BLT was ordered at are table this year it went bread, BLT, bread, BLT, bread! something like $8.. Always smiling service.. they remember are faces when we come in for that once a year.My father in law always makes it down for breakfast. Ive been tols the protions are just as generous and tasty..
La Pine has plenty of places to have lunch but dinner houses are in short supply. We visit this area a couple of times a year and unless your eating Mexican for dinner this is the only place I would recommend. I had meatloaf dinner with mash potatoes and gravy. It was very good, it was hot, tasty and a large hunk of meat. Wife had a chicken & spinach wrap she enjoyed. Place is very new, clean and pleasant. Service is good. Kitchen a little slow but food is worth the wait.

We stayed in the near by Eastlake campground and enjoyed walking over to this little cafe for a bite to eat. It is small with only a few tables, and service is OK to slowish, but relax and enjoy some good food inside or take it outside and enjoy the view of the lake!

This restaurant is great from breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a growler filling station and Joel always keeps a good selection rotating the taps. Club sandwich is one of my favorites.

This place is a bar. However at dinner time you can bring your children in I guess there's a great meal. Check out their specials on the menu board everyone there is accommodating and try to keep you happy.

If you're ever passing through La Pine, Oregon, make sure to stop at Norma's Red Rooster Restaurant! The food here is very good, staff is pleasant, and there isn't a long wait! The restaurant has a small dining room that gives you that "hometown" feel. It is also attached to a wonderful quilt shop if that is your thing - you can eat and then go browse at the fabrics, quilts, and gifts - there's even items for sale from some of the local artisans! Access is easy as the restaurant is well marked and right on Hwy 97 on the west side of the road. Do yourself a favor and stop in for some delicious home cooking!
