Abe's has been a popular lunch spot in Wilkes-Barre as long as I can remember. I stopped in a few days ago and nothing has changed... and that's a good thing..!! The same guy has been making the dogs since I was a kid. The hot dogs are very good. I like my dogs with everything a bag of Middleswarth chips and a coke. Everything at Abe's means chili, mustard and onions. They have counter seats and a few tables. The service is great, the food is good and the prices are excellent. This is true Old School Wilkes-Barre.

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
Highly Recommended. We were in town for a business meeting and staying at the Fairfield Marriott next door. Everything that we had was delicious, reasonably priced, with excellent service. This is a busy restaurant. Our Waiter was Joseph, who was friendly, efficient, fast, well organized, and highly knowledgeable.

The White House Diner is open every Friday night for gourmet dining. It is fantastic. The chef is excellent and the staff wonderful. The diner can only serve approximately 40 people per setting so the quality is excellent. The chef is really gourmet. Every Friday the specials are different and great. Must have a reservation. We dine here all the time.

We had a very nice dinner here before going to a show at the Kirby Center. The restaurant offered some unusual choices, and the food was delicious. The service was very efficient; we did not feel at all rushed. We'll definitely go back!

We were visiting to watch The Lords of 52nd Street at the F.M. Kirby Centre, conveniently situated just next door. We'd already eaten so it was just drinks (before and after the show). I was drinking the Yards IPA, she was on the Raspberry cocktail. Both went down well, again and again. We were with a group so didn't really speak to any of the customers but they seemed a good bunch, as were the bartenders who looked after us. They smoke in the bar which I don't really like but there were only a few who did and it didn't spoil our enjoyment. We were last to leave at 2am. That says it all really.

This restaurant offers regular as well as deliciously unusual fare. I recently ate breakfast there with my husband and I had the cranberry walnut bread French toast. It was excellent. They also have a wide variety of sandwiches and salads for lunch. Plus they always have awesome baked goods to choose from. So yummy!

We just love this place, the great experience starts when greeted at the front door by friendly smiling people , once seated the great experience continues with prompt service from the also smiling and friendly wait staff to take our drink order from a huge selection of beers and specialty mixed drinks and then it's time to order the appetizers and they are just out of this world with the captain crunch chicken and coconut shrimp being my favorites but after that just when you think it can't get any better comes a huge selection of great dinner and burger choices which takes me a while to decide because everything in this place is always so fresh and tasty that the only problem that we have ever encountered has been deciding what we want but in the end we always know that whatever we order will be served hot and fresh by a great bunch of wait staff and it all tastes great. I made myself hungry just writing this so it will be off to the arena tonight for a great meal in a great friendly atmosphere.

We are the official Microbrewery/BrewPub of Northeast PA's coal region. Our craft brews are dedicated to the hard working people who have been and still are examples of our rich heritage.
Food is excellent, large portions you can definitely share. Sides are generous. Beer is tasty, frosty, large variety. For some reason they just donât seem to get great servers. Constant different servers coming to your table, and you wait considerably for anything extra (napkins, water, extra dressing). That is my only negative. Suggestion: open Sunday so customers can enjoy your patio/close Mondays!

Truly a hidden gem. Found on TripAdvisor we just moved to the area. The fig flatbread was delicious, I had the filet with Gouda crab sauce best steak I ever had. My girlfriends all enjoyed there meals. Fun martini and cocktail list. When my girls return to Wilkes Barre they already are making plans to return.
