I ordered the baby back ribs. When it came there was hardly enough room on the table for it. I asked the waitress if I had ordered Brontosaurus . It was that big!

Good, authentic barbeque and darn tasty sides! A full slab of falling-off-the-bone ribs, good pulled pork, cole slaw and potato salad was $44 with tax, but we got three full meals out of it, quite a bargain! Nice staff, nice place too.

To start out, we are locals and dine here regularly for special occasions and other personal reasons. Father's Day 2019 was somewhat disappointing. We chose 6 PM because it was the last reservation available even though we prefer to dine later. We were shown to a nice table in the main dining area. It soon became apparent that there was only two people available to care for us; one being a hostess and one the server. Their attention was divided between us and the three other couples there. Then a party of eight joined us. The party was not seated in the other rooms of the dining area but joined the room where the couples were. Needless to say, the table of eight soon demanded the primary attention of the servers present. We did not get the attention we felt we should have. The food was excellent as usual. The wine was superb. But the service was not up to Kilmarnock Inn standardd.lGreetings Frederick P â Thank you very much for taking the time to review our restaurant. Your input, and the feedback from all of our guests is vitally important to us and we always want guest expectations to be met upon arrival. I sincerely apologize for us not providing you with the attentiveness that you have experienced in your past visits. You have my word that we will work harder to be better and service our guests with much more passion for excellent service. Please feel free to ask for me anytime you are in our restaurant. If I can be of assistance in any way, I would love to do so. Thank you again. Will Mulcahy

We are family owned since 1939.
I got the sausage and gravy biscuits. The best I have had in a while. There was enough left over for breakfast the next morning.

My wife and I had a delicious breakfast here. Needed a car wash and a breakfast. Both of those were taken care of exquisitely. They had unbelievable unprinted breakfast specials that were to die for, and the price was very affordable. Donât pass this opportunity to whet your appetite and wet your car...when youâre way down the Northern Neck!!!
