Reviews on American food in Killington, Vermont, United States. Killington, at the heart of the Green Mountains, is a natural paradise all year round. During the winter, Killington is one of the world's largest and most diverse ski areas, with miles and miles of trails dedicated to downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. When the snow melts, Killington transforms into the home of two PGA golf courses, and spectacular hiking and biking trails through Northern sections of the Appalachian Trail.

JAX Food & Games, Killingtonâs hometown bar, offers weekly live entertainment, incredible food and an extensive selection of locally crafted beers with late night food served until last call.
Come hungry, cause you WILL get filled up! I had the burger while my son had the wings! The fries that came with the meal were outstanding! Great beer selection as well. After eating, my son and I played some pinball and video games.Thank you for your wonderful review, EthansDad1! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon!

Our family went here on Easter for an early morning breakfast. We all ordered something different and some was better than others. We were disappointed with the blueberry stuffed French toast-it was just unflavored blueberry compote on top of regular French toast. The maple French toast was pretty good though. Someone ordered sausage gravy and biscuits and they enjoyed it and it was a big serving size. The restaurant itself was chilly, so they next time we go we will ask to not sit next to a window.

A Good Place to Eat and Drink Located at the Killington Grand Hotel. Named for and inspired by Killington founder Pres Smith, Prestonâs Restaurant is the embodiment of mountain lifestyle and culinary creativity. The menu is infused with Vermont ingredient
Located ground level in the Killington Grand, Preston's offers an upscale but relaxed atmosphere from the moment you walk in. A long bar to the left with ample seating, high tops to the right and a beautiful view of the mountain with floor to ceiling windows. Plenty of large party seating as well or grab a romantic table secluded in the back. The menu has an app, or entree for any taste with a few more adventurous ingredients than you will find right on the mountain. Great local ingredients. Try the mouton brie or kobe beef sliders to start and if you have room for an entree- Bees Box... one of the best veal dishes I have ever encountered.

Probably couldn't go wrong after skiing this season. Eclectic, fun atmosphere with a large bar area and plenty of seating with window views. Excellent burger with great fries, the burger using Vermont beef if I remember correctly. Very nice waitress, I should add, a nice person. For a few beers and some good food this is always going to be just fine.Than you for your review. We are ready to welcome you back as soon as there is snow. Or come and see us outside the ski season.

The Birch Ridge Inn is a Lodge with a restaurant on the Killington Access Road, less than a mile from the base of the mountain. It is a beautiful old building with a wonderful bar that looks like Bing Crosby should be sitting there. At Christmas the tree in the bar is spectacular so make sure to stop by for at least a drink if not dinner. The food at the restaurant is very good and priced in line with the quality. The staff is very friendly and the owners Bill and Mary are always there to greet you and make sure your visit is special. This is a place worth the visit.

Had a nice dinner here. The monkfish and crab entree was delicious. Gluten free options are available. The dessert options were extensive (but not for gluten free). Thank you for visiting Choices and enjoying your stay. Our dessert tray is all made in house and I'll start offering our Flourless Chocolate and Raspberry Torte on a daily basis. Not too many places offer Monkfish to die for...

We were traveling through Killington and were ready to stop for a lunch break. Not many places were open for lunch â they wait to open for dinner. We stopped at the Visitor Center and they told us this place was open and even gave us a coupon. The weather was nice so we chose to sit on the ârooftopâ for our meal. The view up there is beautiful! We went early fall so the leaves were just beginning to change. The food was good, the burgers were large, and the service was fine. There was only one waitress helping everyone on the rooftop and she had to keep going from the rooftop down to the kitchen and back up the stairs, even for refills! They should figure out a way to make that a little easier on the waitress. I could give this eatery a recommendation based on our experience here.

The Foundry, Killington's premier dining destination, offers fine cuisine with a stunning scenic setting. Waterside seating welcomes you to relax and enjoy craft beer and wine that compliments impeccable, chef-driven local cuisine.
Four of us were on our annual golf trip, our first golf trip to Killington. We stopped here because it was the closest restaurant to the house that we were renting and it looked very attractive from the outside. The menu was expansive but a bit pricey. We were trying to decide if we would go somewhere else or stay when the waitress came by and told us that the daily special was prime rib for $22 including desert. We all happily ordered the prime rib. The prime rib came with mashed potatoes and broccoli and was very good.Service was excellent.Thank you for your review, jerryf183. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your night with us. We hope to see you again soon!

We have been coming to The Garlic for about 10 years. We were there when they were still pouring house wine out of rooster carafes (which we miss!!) and have two that we purchased in our kitchen! We love it here. The smashed garlic for the bread is worth going in alone. The lamb with goat cheese and blueberry is my husbands favorite. I enjoy the scallops and shrimp. Wine selection is great. Atmosphere is romantic but also great shared with friends!
