Met here with a crew from work for Lunch. Service was very good, staff very attentive. I chose the Turkey Rueben. The sandwich was good, fresh slaw, a nice amount of turkey. The kettle type chips that came with the sandwich were a touch stale and the coffee here was so-so. It's a good place to meet-up on 28th street, but I can't rave about the overall food experience. Didn't have pie, those that did enjoyed it of course.Shawn, thank you for joining us at GT Pie with your lunch bunch. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed our service and staff as well as your Turkey Rueben. Thank you for your feedback on our chips and coffee. I'll be sure to share your feedback with our staff. We hope you decide to join us for a meal or dessert again soon.

The food was good, and the service was thoughtful. The individual pizza (thick crust) had more toppings and less bread than I prefer, but it was well made and served hot. It has a sports bar atmosphere, and is a bit loud. Surprisingly, it has a decent selection of entrée salads. The beer selection is large and comprehensive. There were quite a few young families with children there when we visited.

Main business is catering, however, open Thursday and Fridays for takeout from 11 am to 6:30 pm.
Michigan is not really know for BBQ, but The Pit Stop is excellent BBQ anywhere. Go early for lunch; youâll still wait, youâll just wait less. The wait is worth it, however. Cafeteria style service, no inside seating. Only four picnic tables out front; they are covered if itâs raining, but outside so wear a coat if itâs cold.I know itâs not the South, but some fresh brewed iced tea would go better than canned with the food.

The three of us all had sirloin steaks. Cooked to perfection, and very tasty! The baked potatoes were very good as well. The restaurant is noisy, but we were sitting near the bar where the TVâs are located. Our waiter was excellent! We will go there to eat again.

I like this place ! Sausage gravy and biscuits is one of my favorites, but usually bland or canned. I had the Green Acres skillet with my bread as a biscuit so I could try the gravy. Everything was great, service (Sheila) was fantastic. The only complaint I would have is ? The sausage gravy was salty. So many people with high BP, I really wish restaurants would pay more attention to sodium levels. The rest of the food was not salty. I would definitely go back and try something different !

All salad entrees, chicken salad, beet salad, and wedge salad, all good, fresh and crispy greens. All had too much greens, short on the add-inâs. Seasoning good. 2Two soups, French onion was good, beef vegetable soup was fair, skimpy meat. Average ratings, nothing spectacular, service good. Ok service. Comfortable seating, nice views.

We had brunch at the Old Goat on a recent Sunday morning. The food was superb! the bread board was fabulous, love the $4 mimosas! Great menu and our server Adam was very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. The live music was nice and not intrusive to conversation. The chicken waffle sandwich was something to dream about. The Old Goat is worth a trip to Grand Rapids!

I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and decided to walk over to this place for breakfast. The place was crowded on Saturday morning ( 7.30 am ) very friendly atmosphere. The service is awsome, they have many dietary options. Typical diner menu plus a lot more. The food is fresh. Their veggie omelette was awsome. Do not miss their freshly squeezed orange juice. They are open from 6.00 to 3.00 .Portion size is big.
