Located conveniently in downtown Keene, this small bar can be a quiet place for get-togethers or packed with locals and/students from the college. Staff is all very friendly and the food is pretty good. They have a couple dart boards and pool table for those who are interested in light play. TV for sports. A little something for all.

Usually The Pub has breakfast all day. We went there after Church on Easter Sunday. They had a special menu for Easter and breakfast ended at noon. Students who came in after lunch left when they found out there was no all day breakfast. We were disappointed but ordered the salads rather than a full Easter dinner. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Went here with a couple girlfriends this past weekend, and it was pretty average. Typical bar, reasonably priced drinks, decent atmosphere. The cocktail menu is quite extensive, but there wasn't anything particularly new or creative.

Good food in a cutesey old world setting. They really try to make you feel right at home. Breakfast especially always a great choice. Reasonable prices.

Keene is filled with fantastic restaurants. We had family visiting with 5 children ages 7 and younger so we needed good American standards for lunchtime. We needed a restaurant tolerant of young families. What could be better than a Diner?? We were wrong. Our waitress in particular would walk away sputtering negatives just loud enough so we could hear what she was saying. We didn't want to confront her but others dining were exposed to this and co-workers accepted this poor behavior. The food was fine and served up fast which enabled us to depart fairly fast as well.

We ate here twice during our recent stay in Keene. We received excellent service and the food was very good. Their filet mignon was cooked to order and was superb. The salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Another night we had the prime rib sandwich and it, too, was very tender, served with fries and an excellent Caesar salad. The chocolate lava cake was delicious too. We will return to Keene again this month to watch our grandson play baseball with the Swampbats and we will definitely eat here again.

Always love dining here when we visit beautiful Main Street, Keene, NH. Recently though our meal was disappointing. My husband ordered a pizza which arrived burnt and too hard to bite into. Our server's only response to his complaint was that a new pizza cook had just started. No offer to bring him something else and the bill was never adjusted. My Shrimp burger was just mediocre, though the sweet potato fries were very good. It was hard to find something wonderful to order on the new menu which was the most disappointing part of our evening. In the past it was hard to choose one of all the fabulous choices. We're hoping Firworks brings back some of their tried and true dishes and specials.

Nice casual looking place with indoor and outdoor seating. Good varied beer. Reasonable burger and good fries. Thatâs about it. Onion rings - batter was too thick. Fried potato pancakes - undercooked and too thick - and not enough potatoes. Fried mushrooms - slightly soggy but ok. Fish (of fish and chips) and all the sauces - unfortunately no taste. If you want a burger, fries and beer - youâre good. If you want something more...

We tried a few restaurants in Keene until we found The Stage, and now every time we are in the area we make an effort to visit this restaurant. It has a nice selection of offerings on the menu, and everything we have tried has been absolutely excellently prepared. Not only is this restaurant great, but it has been consistently great. The pricing for the quality is definitely fair, and the atmosphere is nice, but still very relaxed.Thank you for the wonderful review, we're so happy to become your new favorite!

Plenty of place for parking for our lunch stop. We were seated immediately and given plenty of time to look at the menu and specials. The menu included sandwiches, burgers, some bbq items, appetizers and salads. The decor is nothing special, but not offensive in any way. There is a small salad bar off to one side. Our meals came out in good time. The men ordered the small size fish and chips-5 chunks of fish and plenty of fries and cole slaw. Very tasty. My friend had the Rueben which comes with chips and she loved it. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich with a brioche bun and it was delicious. I had expected more bbq choices since there is a big smoker out front, but the bbq choices are quite limited. The bathrooms are clean, and the service was excellent. We would come back if we were ever in Keene at lunch time.
