Kalka is a town in the Panchkula district of Haryana, India. The name of this town is derived from the goddess Kali. The town is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is a gateway to the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh. It is on the National Highway 22 between Chandigarh and Shimla, and it is the terminus of the Kalka-Shimla Railway. To the south of Kalka is Pinjore, and the industrial village of Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh) is to the north on the NH 22. Industrial development has led to a continuous urban belt from Pinjore to Parwanoo, but Kalka remains largely unaffected by these developments. Nearby is Chandimandir Cantonment where the Western Command of the Indian army is based. In 2013 it has come under the jurisdiction of Panchkula Municipal Corporation and its municipal committee has been dissolved.

Very nice place small but good for sir out for tea with samosa's. Neat and clean place . Interior with tea kettles overall great ambience . Location Backside of sector 10d market.

Amazing place to be, such a wonderful ambience, we have been to this place a couple of times, best part about the place is that its pet friendly. Myself, my wife and our fur baby Max thoroughly enjoyed everything - the food, the service, the ambience...thank you so much for making the place pet friendly...I strongly feel other places should also declare such Cafe's a pet friendly place so a celebration is truly done with family!

Visited this place recently during my stay in Chandigarh and it was usual outlet like other subway so overall taste was fine, decent fresh veggies and overall products. What I don't understand is what's the harm in giving bill which though I don't need but still it is suppose to be given without asking. Try this place if passing by the area.

On sunday afternoon we visited with group of family friends. Nice location, amble parking nice place to take even ladies with you. They have fresh beer available and good snacks. Look out for offer of the day if you want to save some buck.. Highly recommended to chill out in afternoon.
