The mixed vegetables were microwaved after being frozen. Minute rice. We were the only people there on a Saturday night - that should have tipped us off. The chili was adequate. The server was not very bright, but was nice and friendly.Hi David, I am sorry you did not love our food at Rivalry's Restaurant. We get rave reviews by our customers all the time. I value your feedback. I would like to offer you dinner on the house because I care about my customers and I care about their experience at Rivalry's!

Denny's Restraurant

We stopped here for a quick breakfast while on a road trip. The first thing we noticed was a line of people who clearly had been waiting a long time to pay their tabs. No one was at the register. Servers walked back and forth, ignoring the growing line.We waited a long time to be seated and were just about to walk out when a server showed up (no greeting), walked us to a booth, and told us someone would be with us soon. When the waitress finally arrived, she gave us placemats but no utensils, so I stirred my coffee with a straw. As we waited to place our order, we watched with growing concern as people around us sent their food back to the kitchen. One woman took a bite of her blueberry pancakes and discovered runny batter in the center. A man in back of us sent his order back twice and finally said he did not want to try a third time and was not paying for it.We became increasingly concerned about the quality of the food and decided to order items it would be hard to screw up. My husband ordered grits, I ordered grits and an English muffin, and our son ordered a Grand Slam with grits. As we waited for the food, I became aware that the floor under our table felt gravelly underfoot, as if it hadn't been swept for a long while. The waitress returned to say that the kitchen had run out of grits (at 10 a.m. on a Sunday). As soon as our food arrived, my husband very wisely paid the tab directly to the server to avoid the line at the register. There was ineptitude at every level, and no manager in sight.

We don't usually do fast food on our bus trips but sometimes stop at Subway when we need to eat lunch on the bus. Subway offers healthier choices than other fast food restaurants. I had the group pre-order their lunch, then sent all 55 orders to Stephen, the manager. He, in turn, had the boxed lunches ready and waiting for us with each individual order taped to the top of the box. Very efficient, everyone got their choice for lunch, and I am very grateful to Stephen and his crew for doing such a nice job.

The Estate on Coffee Creek

Tried this restraunt for the first time for the Mother’s Day Brunch. We were patrons of Nick’s restraunt in downtown Willoughby for many years, still go back with the new owner! I expected so much more from Nick. The dining room looks like a high school gym, no ombiance, missed the globes from the ceiling even if in a small space, the Bloody Mary Mimosa bar was average at best, I would rate it a 1, the mix was bottled, and not the best, Husband asked for a orange juice free mimosa, got a laugh from the server and complied, (now we know why they put orange juice in it, bff,) for 15$ it was the worst Bloody Mary I have had. All the food on the buffet was room temp to cold, beef was very tough, husband said the roast pork was tender but cold. We are experienced home cooks, I was concerned about eating room temp food, not below or above safe levels. Chef Nick should know better. I just hope we don’t get sick tonight. As I said so very disappointed, expected so much more from a Chef I truly admired when in Willoughby. This expierance just confirmed why I do not like buffet meals, such a shame since I actually asked for this, I expected better. No complaints about service they tried hard to accommodate.

We've ate at different Waffle House's around the country and this one was awful. Poor service!! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came with no cheese. When the waitress delivered the table behind ours food, I said excuse me and was ignored. So I make eye contact and wave her over and she walks the other way, the cook hears me say You've got to be kidding me and sends her over. She takes my food back and has cheese put on the burger and the cook brought it to my table, by this time my husband is almost done with his meal, was very disappointed in the service.

Traveling through the area and stopped here for dinner, recommended by hotel staff. Local bar/grill, not a lot of options (other than fast food) within driving distance of the hotel so we took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Not fancy but great food. Each of us ordered a Stromboli, they are known for this and didn't disappoint. I ordered a cheese & meat version while my husband ordered a vegetarian version. The portions were HUGE, we each only ate half and had the rest the next day. They are very tasting and cheesy. Would recommend stopping by and giving the Stromboli a taste!

I've been going to the Wild Side off and on for a while now. Mostly I go on Tuesdays, which is Wing Night. There is a diverse crowd there. A good amount of the younger crowd, as well as parents and grand parents taking their families out to eat. The staff there has always been attentive and pleasant to deal with. Thumbs up!

We had been to this location when it was Josephines. Now it is Chili Piaz. Went for lunch with my wife anticipating good food. Couldnt have been more let down. For $8 for sandwich I got two pieces of bread which was twice the size and thickness of the meat inside. We may try it again to see if things have changed, but don't want to waste our money.

Lunch here was fantastic. Small place with a bar and tables to choose from. Service was quick and pleasant. The meatloaf melt was very good served with chips and pickle. The tuna melt was served with chips. I got a side of slaw and it was great. Very good tasting. There are homemade desserts available but I did not have any. Rhonda was our server and she was polite and quick to get us what we needed. Located on main road so parking is on the street. Clean bathroom but a little small for the ladies.
