The milkshakes are absolutely amazing and one of the best I have ever had. You have a choice of 11 different flavors, picking as many as you want and you can even add bacon. The burgers are all freshly cooked on the grill that is in the open kitchen, so you can watch them cook. All the burgers are well made and taste beautiful and you have the choice of 16 different toppings and sauces, again you can have as many as you want. The fries are amazing and you can also watch them be cooked in front of you and they are also beautiful. Lastly, while you wait you can help yourself to some peanuts and eat them with your meal, for free. The only minor issue is they're a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

AJ's is a new and exciting 50's style American diner that caters for all.located inside Nene Valley Motorcycle Centre Ltd, on the Leyland Trading Estate on the outskirts of Wellingborough which caters for all motorcycle needs from cbt to direct access and
Visited for brekkie yesterday and got chatting to the lovely lady, Ann, who served us. Mentioned the family had owned a much larger establishment near Northampton for 7 years and moved to Ryde recently. The decor of the diner was really cute & retro and it was at the end of a historic arcade on Union Street. Breakfast was freshly cooked & bacon slices were thick. After thinking of Full English Breakfasts for a while, it was just what I needed! Hope the diner goes from strength to strength in its new location! Recommended visit :)

Where to start! We have been Buddies fans for years but tonight will be our last.. wet table, poor service despite being empty, smoothie wasnât smooth, lasagne like leather, no wipes when you order ribs - sorry just not what weâve come to expect. Menu also changed and not for the better (Rushden branch)

We had pre-booked and were seated quickly at a comfortable circular booth (but not rushed). I didn't catch our waitresses name (she had blonde hair and glasses) but she was very attentive and looked after us very well (regular check-backs + second drinks orders etc). I couldn't fault the kitchen at all either ! The food was out in a good time considering how busy the restaurant was and everything was well-presented. My only negative about our visit here was the constant shouting at the kitchen by a manager (short, light/grey hair, checked shirt, blue jeans). I work as a chef and previously as FOH at the Bill's restaurant at the lakes so I know what it is like to work a busy lunch service and how stressful it can get however the way he was talking to the kitchen staff was disgusting and enough to turn a lot of customers heads through the duration of our visit. To conclude, the service was great, the food was banging but the otherwise-lovely atmosphere was spoiled by a barking manager.

I would give this restaurant 5* for what it actually is tbh. It's a cheap and cheerful diner, not the best food I've ever had, but not the worst. The staff were friendly and efficient. I like the decor and would definitely visit again. It's a very cute cafe!
