Great for breakfast and lunch. They make their own biscuits. Get there early for diner, things get too slow and food quality slips. Good variety. Staff very friendly and recognizes regulars, nice touch.

Anniversary celebration...made reservation a month prior. Everything we had hoped for! Based on reviews that we read, the Parmesan souffle was amazing!!! Cocktails were nothing special...actually just okay, but wine selection was exceptional. Scallopine was amazing and pasta celections were great. No room for dessert...portion sizes were more than adequate. Service, as most reviews state, was exceptional. Would also reccomend valet service as parking can be difficult for the area.

We were heading into Birmingham to attend a Birmingham Legion FC Soccer game, and wanted a place to grab a quick, but good, lunch, before checking into our hotel. Our son, who lives in town, had heard of this place, and suggested we all meet there to try it out - so glad he did! The pizza was OUTSTANDING! At $17.00 for a Large, 3 adults ate and were comfortable. The crust was cooked to perfection, the toppings tasted very fresh, and the service was outstanding. We will be back!

Every time we have been to the restaurant the parking lot was completely running over. However we got very lucky this time, someone was backing out as we drove in, so we were able to get a parking spot. YEA!! James was our waiter and he did a fantastic job. We were extremely pleased with our food and the portions were HUGE. Make sure you have a big appetite.

Visited here after hot day at the Zoo when daughter picked it- The server Michelle was great! The chicken salad and pimento with crackers was wonderful. Loved the home made âcrackersâ. The patty melt was a bit on the dry side and needed something as far as seasoning. The kids grilled cheese was very good and had plenty of cheese. Would definitely go again if in area - just know there are only a very few Parking spots but parking on street.

For a chain, the food was better than we expected. My ribs were tender and came with sauce on the side. The potato salad has sweet pickle relish in it, which while it could have been good, was too cloying. Don't order the green beans! So overcooked they look like they were canned. The fried okra was good and plentiful. We took home leftovers and didn't have room for dessert.

My family went there during the weekday. We were the first in line and the woman in back of the counter was extremely rude and told me to hurry up picking mine and 3 children's food. When I asked her about the chicken fingers she said something so rude I really would have walked out but since everyone was hungry we stayed. The waitress was sweet but that was the only good thing. The vegetables had no seasoning and the rolls were hard. With the amount we paid it should have been much better.

SAW's was recommended to us by hotel staff. Our server was excellent. We started with fried green tomatoes which were delicious. Our servicer made a recommendation which we ordered. We had the pork and greens and grilled catfish and greens. Both were excellent and packed with flavor. This place has a casual atmosphere and great food. You won't be disappointed.
