We went here with friends. We got to try their new vegan burger. It was excellent. It left me questioning is this really vegan. It was that good. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. Everything was very nice.

Funky little bar, but the three of us visiting felt right at home. Many customers seemed to know one another and the staff - kind of a "where everybody knows your name" type place. We split some apps -- fried mushrooms and chicken egg rolls were tasty, But the chili cheese tots made my heart sing. A body just needs some junk food occasionally. I wish we had a little neighborhood joint like this where I live.

I can't believe it took me so long to find this place! As a chef and caterer, it's always refreshing to find a place where I can get something as good or better than what I cook. Had the Jerk Pork and Chicken, pineapple coleslaw and fried plantains. Fabulous! Although the coleslaw could have used more pineapple. Have been looking for a good Cuban sandwich and hear theirs is really good. From what I understand, the menu changes daily so I am looking forward to going back!

Well this place is all about location for sure, and used to be one of my fave places to go & to recommend to guests. I have to say the food has gone downhill. Watery nachos I do not even know what would have caused that kind of liquid on the plate? 1/4 cup crab dip: most expensive app and so so so small! a joke!, and the worst excuse for shrimp and grits ever: about 4+ cups of grits with dime and smaller sized shrimp on top? yuk! freezer bag shrimp? garbage! We enjoy going here for ready prepared foods like, chicken parm, meatloaf, mac and cheese, etc..For a quick and easy way to pick up dinner, I recommend Fuscos. We did go there for lunch and had the special that day, lasagna and salad, and really enjoyed it too.

Visited for lunch with family from out-of-town. Amazing variety of "old home" favorites. Our orders included country fried steak and brown gravy, chicken fried steak and white gravy, and fried chicken breast. I got the four veggie plate and corn bread. Service - though they were crowded - was excellent, fast, and friendly. The locals, from maintenance workers to business executives to grand-folks, all looked happy. I ordered the fried fresh okra, stewed okra and tomatoes, mac and cheese, and squash casserole - all excellent, and large servings. All were thick and rich without excess liquid - the fried okra was crispy, all were piping hot. The squash casserole one of the best I've ever had. The corn bread muffin somewhat dry but butter solved that. All less that $9.00 with water to drink.Great place. If I ate here every day I'd weigh 350 pounds! :)

The salad was not fresh. The lettuce had brown edges. We let the waitress know and she responded with a sorry. The waitress was new it appeared If so, she should have had someone to work with her and train. The baked sweet potato was cold. We were not served any bread. We had to ask for it.

We have always enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance.Tonight is no exception.It is a locally owned restaurant where everyone is made to feel welcome. We chose to sit at the bar where Emily took great care of us,In addition to a wonderful meal, we had Steve (the owner,) assist us in picking just the right wine. His recommendations were spot on! We have promised ourselves to become regulars. Yes...it is THAT good!

We eat at Cracker Barrel frequently, both at home and when traveling. For me, this meal was bad from the get-go. The waiter did not listen when we ordered. After a very long wait, I was brought the wrong meal. Then the waiter argued with me that this was the meal I ordered. I also order GRILLED sour dough bread - arrived plain. He said he would fix it, but after about 15 more minutes, I had to ask him to have it grilled. Then the cashier also argued with me about the meal being the correct one - even when I showed it to her on the menu. Then she said, "Well, it's the same price." Actually, i was charged more than the meal I ordered, but that was not the point. We will not return that that Cracker Barrel.
