My husband and I travel from California to Southeast Kansas quite often and have visited several BBQ restaurants. This restaurant is by far the best we have tried. Everything served is fresh and delicious. Try their homemade beer-battered onion rings--very original and tasty. Pork ribs, as well as the sauce, is outstanding. Salad bar was also impressive and showed a variety of fresh items. Order is made at a counter and then delivered to your table. Menu is huge and written on a big wall space board. Owner greeted us and showed us around the uniquely decorated restaurant with its military items and other collectibles displayed in honor of the owner's family A feeling of pride was certainly demonstrated in this quaint BBQ restaurant in a small town in Kansas. Restaurant was busy even at 2 p.m. Kudos to the owner and his staff! We will certainly return to this place.

My son and I went to Rookies for an early lunch on Saturday. The place was very clean and we loved the atmosphere. There is an outside dining area as well that was very nice. We tried the Rookies Sampler appetizers and chose the mozzarella sticks, onion petals and potato skins. All were delicious! Our server was fast and friendly and eager to help us in anyway. My son ordered the southwest chicken wrap and fries and I had a make your own burger and fries. The food was perfect and delicious! We will definitely be back for more!
I am not a big donut eater but have had these a couple times now. Fresh and tasty with a nice variety.
Experience unique, drive-in dining with made-to-order food and more than 1.3 million drink combinations.
With limited options in this town in the middle of nowhere we decided on Sonic. The order was repeated three times. The screen displayed the correct items. Were the correct items received? No. Seriously, how hard is it to put the correct items in a bag that a customer has given money for? Sonic is already a bit overpriced but to screw up an order after all of the safeguards is inexcusable.
