My first visit here with some family. The place exceeded my expectations, I had not expected to find really good craft beer in Huntington (I was visiting), so I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed a couple IPAs and some appetizers, including a kale dip and some nachos. Also had Buffalo Tofu, a take on chicken wings. The tofu was not as exciting as the others, but had to do it. Next time in Huntington I will definitely hit this place again.

21 is a restaurant in the Frederick Hotel building, downtown Huntington, WV. We feature an innovative menu and a chic and enjoyable bar. Catering available.
I was impressed with the architecture, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. My server, Kyle, was very nice and on top of everything. I enjoyed the Cesar salad. I loved the dressing, which I have never tasted one with that delightful flavor. The lamb was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right.

I chose this spot based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Great craft beer selection and I had their Crispy Fried Chicken salad. Food was outstanding and my bar tender was spot on. Great variety of menu selections and plenty of TV's at the bar. They even switched on the Caps game for me. Excellent customer service.

Don't let the small storefront fool you! They have a back room and upstairs seating so it is bigger then it looks! The food was delicious. They had prime rib ready to carve and serve as it was ordered! Delicious appetizers and a selection of craft brews complements whatever dish you chose to order.

Very good pizza...but noisy restaurant. I understand that the philosophy behind tall ceilings with exposed pipes is that the noise level doesn't encourage people to linger over their meal.Friends found that their pizza crust was burnt on the bottom, but ours was just fine.

A large root beer float on top of the drive inn was the draw and reason for our stop on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, around 1:30PM.Weather was excellent for sitting out to enjoy a meal of hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich and root beer float. For me the hamburger was good because tasted like an old fashioned burger from childhood. Quaintness and friendly service is a good reason for very good rating. Our server, a young lady, was excellent and efficient.Worth our time to stop on our road trip from Texas. We were not familiar with the Frostop brand.

We were looking for recommendations on places to have lunch and several people pointed us to Fat Pattyâs. So we had to go. We both ordered burgers and they were ok. Iâve had better. But then again, the prices are very affordable so donât expect gourmet. I got the Patty burger which had two patties with cheese, bacon, onion, lettuce and tomato. Side order of chips. My husband got the Patty melt with fries. The restaurant needs to be updated. Our table was delaminating. One of the bathroom doors was missing exposing the toilet. And itâs dark in there. But our server was very helpful in getting us to decide on a burger and she was nice. I give it a 3!

Huntington West virginia is also known by itâs nickname âJewel Cityâ as this is the moniker used by river boat captains of the past when describing the city to passengers. Huntingtonâs nickname is Jewel City because at one time it was the western terminus
The only negative I can post is that it was a little warm inside the dining area on the day I visited (7/19/19 hot outside). Otherwise, it was quite a surprise.Very casual atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food, made my overall dining experience very enjoyable. There were many great menu choices, but I elected to try some of their appetizers first, then ask my server what he recommended for my main course. I started with lobster bisque which was outstanding, then fried calamari which was just ok (prefer grilled calamari), and then a half dozen raw oysters which were excellent. The server recommended salmon or sea scallops, and I went with the scallops (grilled). The entree came with my choice of two sides (I chose fries and a small salad). The sea scallops (maybe 8 or 9) were delicious. Drop the calamari and I would have been super satisfied with everything else.In a big city restaurant, this meal would have easily set me back $100. I was out the door, with tip for about $60. Although the cost was no comparison to eating fast food or at many competing restaurants in the area, it was worth every penny. A treat for sure.
