After reading the other two reviews, I decided to go here for dinner with a friend. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was good. My friend had a personal pizza and I ordered a roast beef hoagie (see pics). My friend said the pizza was good, especially the crust. I really enjoyed the hoagie. The bread was fresh and the roast beef was well done (I don't like red or pink meat). The veggies were fresh and cold too. Both meals with a drink came to a little over $13. Also, I took a quick look at the menu and noticed they offer a wide range other foods, including full dinners, as well as a large selection of specialty pizzas (e.g. Taco, Cheeseburger). I will be back to try a few of those. Overall, a very good first visit. Oh, and the outside is a tad bit "run-down" looking, but don't let that put you off. The inside is well maintained.

This little cafe is adorable; staff is very friendly. We stopped for a cup of coffee and my husband had the mixed berry scone. The scone was flavorful and full of berries. I cannot speak to the foods; however; the coffee was as strong as a brown crayon melted in hot water! Awful, the coffee I drink out of the vending machines in the hospital taste better. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, this is not the place!!!

We really enjoyed our breakfast on a quiet weekday morning at Wildflower prior to heading up to Juniata for a college visit. Service was very friendly and helpful. Portions are quite large, big chunks of vegetables in the western omelette, plenty of ham and cheese. Crisp toast. My daughter had the stuffed French Toast and it was fairly rich (chocolate and peanut butter!) but she loved it. Fresh locally roasted coffee available and hot chocolate made from scratch. Lots of lovely, whimsical arts and crafts to gaze at and for purchase. Enjoyed our visit.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. All I read and heard was how great the salad bar was - it was adequate. There certainly was a nice variety of choices, but nothing special or unique. The soups were a little better than average but I wasn't running back for more. I am not a desert guy but they offered a good variety of items.I did find it amusing that when we came we were told it was a ten minute wait, which I didn't mind but what was odd was that the place had lots of empty tables. I had broiled Whitefish and was happily surprised at the taste and good sized portion. The rice pilaf I had as a side was ok. The best part was the bill - very reasonable. I can see why this a popular destination - portions are solid and the price is good. I was hoping for a beer with dinner but there is no alcohol served at this particular establishment - I had water.Would I return - yes.

We had dinner here due to its location to the hotel we stayed in. The staff was friendly and the portions were huge. The food tasted like it was homemade and not frozen and reheated. They have a bar here if that interests you. Definitely a locals kind of place but if you arent a local you wont stand out.Thank you for taking time to write a review. We look forward to serving you again when you are back in town. Kelly's has been owned by three generations of women, next year we celebrate 40 years. We thank you for your patronage.

Once a month some other retirees and I go to different restaurants around area and today decided to go to Tops Diner.I had chicken dinner and mashed potatoes and my friends had ham loaf. Everything was great and service was top notch also.Rick the owner came back and checked to see how our meals were and also because he knows Merv well from coming in a lot,but I also saw him going around asking other customers too.He told us that he was checking because if it wasn’t good he would like to know why to make it right instead of somebody never coming back.I thought it was a smart thing to do for business in future.I would recommend Top Diner...Thanks Richard! Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I've been overwhelmed with catering ! Hope to see you again soon ! Rick, Owner

BOXERS

Reviewed By rls241

After reading mostly positive reviews here, my wife and I were excited to try Boxers after a day of visiting Raystown Lake. We were promptly greeted when we walked in and enjoyed the atmosphere but unfortunately what offsets those positives are the small portion sizes that are not commensurate with prices.I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon for $9. I was disappointed to see how amusingly small the sandwich was and that it does not come with any sides, not even chips! I did mention to the waitress my disappointment but was told that this is just the way it is and I could order another.Needless to say, we went elsewhere to get more to eat after this meal. The sandwich was barely five bites worth. We did enjoy our beers and our waitress provided a little bit of nice conversation but I can't give this restaurant a good review due to the poor portion sizes.
