We are a family restaurant located on the Cherry Ridge Airport. You are able to watch planes take off and land as you eat with a perfect view of the runway. In the aummer we have outdoor seating which also has a perfect view of the runway. Great homestyle
Flew in for lunch, looking for a different airport restaurant to try. Very impressed with this hidden gem little airport and restaurant. Wide menu selection compared to other airport restaurants. Good service. Nice low Avgas price. Will return, probably for breakfast next time.

Burgers are served hot and juicy. Add on salad bar includes soup salad and desert. You can really fill up for a reasonable price.

Free outside parking and food. Have to walk through private party room to access bar. They charge a 3% fee to use debit or credit (boo). They were out of IPA so I had another suggestion: double wheat.Meh. Weird, 'cause I like dive bars. And this bare bones establishment in a dead town fits that bill.Didn't eat but food of patrons next to me didn't look too appetizing.

We ate here after finishing a train ride on The Stourbridge Line.We were told that the food was very good. . . . it was average.I ordered the roast beef meal. . . . I did not realize that I needed to ask if the meat was rare or not. . . it came out completely cooked through -- which I don't really care for. It tasted ok but it was not what I expected. My husband ordered the pepper steak and specifically asked for it to be medium rare. . . it came out pretty well done. . . .again, not terrible but not what he had asked for or expected. Our server was very personable and friendly which was a plus; unfortunately, we will not be eating here again and we can't recommend it unless you are so hungry you don't care what you eat.Other dishes might be good. . . .but we were not impressed. And seeing how many names this place goes by I am not sure if there has been a large turnover of owners or if there is another issue.
-Casual dining offering a reasonably priced classical American menu with appetizers, soups, burgers, sandwiches, salads and entrees and a wide range of beverages featuring a wide selection of domestic, imported and local wines, beers and spirits. Open Thu
After seeing a documentary about the restaurant by one of the local TV channels, my interest was peaked and so decided to dine at the facility. We were not disappointed with the food or staff.Prices are reasonable and there was plenty of food served. The fried piierogi with dill appetizerwas excellent, quite different from the normal fried pierogi. The only drawback is that they areopened limited times and days. All and all good place to have a Sunday dinner.

Neighborhood bar & grill where friends gather for a great time. Serving 12 varieties on tap, full selection of cocktails and bottled beers, along with burgers, fries, and wings.
Our favorite place to eat lunch when we find ourselves in Honesdale is Brankoâs. They were closed for a memorial service, so we decided to walk up Main Street to look for another place. And we found the Twisted Rail right next door. Looks to be a bar for locals and a few were at the polished bar. But there were a few tables occupied with lunchers. So we took seats at the bar and checked out the menuâ¦pretty basic. I usually have a glass of chardonnay with lunch, but they only have box wines hereâ¦not for me. So, I have an orange and blue instead. The wife has a cocktail instead. The friendly barmaid took or orders of pierogi and grilled cheese and another out of town couple sat next to us at the bar and chatted. Three fat potato pierogi with sautéed onions and sour cream arrived. The pierogis may have been house (or nearby) made. The grilled cheese had bacon and tomato and lots of butter. Both were good. A new discovery for us!Hello Joey ... thanks so much for taking a few minutes to post a review. We're glad that you ventured a walk around Main Street and even happier that you decided to give us a try! We hope to see you again on your next visit to Honesdale.

Here & Now Brewing Company offers beer and food inspired by our surroundings and whatever ideas float through our heads. We are a 7 BBL brewery and restaurant located at 645 Main Street in Honesdale, Pennsylvania guided by a mission of âworld-class beer a
Loved this place as soon as we walked in. There was a fun vibe, super nice employees and they brought us popcorn in duck fat. Sounds yucky but tastes great! There were happy to bring me a couple of samples and unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the one the I really liked. Our friends had the french fries in duck fat which were fabulous and we had the pizza with squash and zucchini on it which was also delicious, even the crust was wonderful! This was a great place located in a cute town!

I ordered the salted caramel and apple walnut pork chop. It was very good. My wife ordered the seared scallops. If you order for the kids, the pasta entrees are huge so they could split the meal. We ordered French fries which must have been 3 potatoes worth. The kids got tater tots with the meal. I think they gave us a 3 pounds, the portions were huge. The onlybtjing is the waiter should have told us an entree was so large. We would have split it. A wider selection of beer would be nice but you are in the middle nowhere so take what you get.

We tried Dyberry Forks for dinner two weeks ago (on a Friday). Both the exterior and the interior are appealing. A lot of thought appears to have gone into the design, and it clearly paid off.The lighting is somewhat unique, and as long as the table is not moved, the spot light over the table is fine.On arrival, we were given a drinks menu - nobody inquired if we were going to eat as well. When we received the menu (at the table), it certainly looked interesting. Although a small selection only, it seems v very varied and designed to cater for different tastes. The starters (wedge salad and potato soup) were tasty, although the soup was only luke warm and the salad dressing a bit watery. After a long(wish) wait, the entrees arrived: Beef Brisket and Filet Mignon. The brisket was well cooked and very tasty. The Filet Mignon was of excellent quality, but - like the cauliflower - extremely spicy - so much that it distracted from the taste of the meat.Unfortunately, desserts consisted only of a selection of different ice creams and sorbets, which was rather disappointing.Whilst the service was friendly, given that only two tables were occupied for most of the time (including ours - and that on a Friday night) service seemed to be on the slow side.Overall, this is a nice restaurant which needs some additional thought in respect of the menu and manner of preparation. There was little warning that consuming the Filet Mignon would require several glasses of water to rid the mouth and tongue of the burning sensation - which spoilt it for me.Thanks for visiting our restaurant. It is unfortunate that you did not bring your concerns to our attention at the time of your visit, so that we might have addressed the issue to your satisfaction. The garnish on our filet mignon is our very popular and classic Chimichurri sauce, which has as the main ingredient chopped raw jalapeños. We would have gladly omitted this garnish from the entree if you had advised us that your preference is less spicy dishes.

The place is a little run down and a few bucks could breathe new life back into this historic building... so much potential.
