If you are looking for a good creative cocktails or exciting dining experience, this is the place!! I honestly was so impressed with this place when we visited on our date night. In my opinion, Shelbyâs is the best bar/restaurant in Holywood. Both drinks and food were well thought out, creative and very good (like LA / NYC good!). Aside from their food & drinks, I should also note their attentive, but friendly and unpretentious service, and their stylish yet cozy decor were huge plus too. Iâd highly recommend this place for a date night occasion!

I've been here a few times and usually have been fairly happy with what I got however on my recent visit I found that the standards have slipped and the prices have risen. I got sesame chicken which was coated in a batter so tough that I almost asked for a steak knife to get through it. The chicken inside was dry and tough. A measly salad did nothing to brighten up the meal. My partner got the chicken enchilada which was quite small and considerably blander than something you could make at home with an Old Elpaso meal kit. The chicken was also tough. Our waitress was lovely and didn't charge us for one meal which was very considerate and the only reason I gave this place more than one star. Although upon reflection I'm saddened that I paid for anything such was the poor quality on offer.

After narrowly avoiding having my wife poisoned by a neighbouring restaurant we came here.Upon being told about the previous experience the waiting staff went out of their way to make sure that my Wifes diet requirements were met (Celiac Gluten free).Pointing out Menu option that would be safe and offered her a great meal from their menu.Food was quick and very tasty

We visited as a family of 3 over a busy lunchtime. The service was fast, friendly and efficient and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. My husband had ribs which he enjoyed, he thought they were succulent and tasty. My son had a Kentucky burger which was perfect. I had fajitas which were tasty enough but the sauce tasted like it had come out of a jar. The sour cream and guacamole also tasted like from a bottle. At £13.99 I would have liked sauces to be freshly made. Burgers £11.99 and ribs £14.99.
