Fortunately friends invited us to join them at Parkers several weeks ago. Since it is somewhat off the beaten path we do not think of going there often enough. We ordered a variety of breakfast food including the basics, pancakes and eggs. In addition to the unique atmosphere we also enjoyed everyone of our meals. Since we were there on a week day we avoided what had been our reason for infrequent visits to Parkers.....crowds. I recommend doing what we did and that is go during the week if your schedule allows and enjoy the service and meal just like we did.

I love Eggs Benedict and the ones served at Breen's Diner were the best ever! Served on an oversized grilled English muffin with ham, perfectly cooked eggs, creamy Hollandaise sauce and hand cut potatoes with just the right amount of seasoning, the breakfast was fabulous. My husband's order of scrambled eggs and ham came with a very generous portion of home fries and choice of several toasts or English muffin. Portions are large and can be shared for a very reasonable $1 plate charge. Very cute 50s vibe diner with and old fashioned soda fountain, juke box and interesting memorabilia. What a great find!

We have been here several times before and came back because we had a gift card to use. We had a short wait but then were shown a table in the bar area. Our waitress soon came and took our drink order. The drinks came quickly and she took our dinner order. Hubby’s salad and the rolls arrived in short order. It was busy in there, but our waitress was attentive. Dinner came out. My ribs, mashed potatoes and broccoli were hot and tasty....nothing special, but ok. Hubby’s steak had been ordered medium well, and the waitress had even said “with a little pink inside?” And he said yes. It arrived over well done. By the time the waitress came back to check up on our meals over 5-7 minutes had passed and she agreed that it was well past medium well done and although she offered him a new steak it would have meant I would have been done by the time his came back out. A manager arrived a few minutes later and also offered a new steak, but he explained that although it was not how he had ordered it, he did not want to wait for a new dinner. We have always run into one thing or another here—wrong sides, wrong drinks, long waits for our foods, too loud music—but nothing that has kept us away. This might be the end. We thought some part of the cost of the meal might be deducted, but it was not. I want to say again, the waitress was very good, but the food just wasn’t worth the money.

I visited this place as a part of corporate outing on a Thursday evening. The place was almost full. As the name suggests, this place is famous for seafood but still I managed to find some vegetarian options. Here is my perspective about the place:Food (4.5/5) - I started with a non alcoholic Blueberry Lemonade Drink. It was quite refreshing. Then moved to Surf Styled Tacos (with choice of Tofu). I loved this dish. The dish was made of fried tofu in (3) flour tortillas with napa cabbage, cheddar cheese, grilled onions and peppers, mango salsa, guacamole, and chipotle-lime sour cream. Along with it, I tried their French Fries which were also quite good.Service (4/5) - The staff was very well trained. They were very friendly and good at what they were doing. The only thing which i felt can be improved is that service can be more quick. I felt it was a bit slow.Ambience (4/5) - The walls of the place has sky blue color to go with its theme. Apart from that, there are other artifacts to depict the theme.Overall, I had a great time here. Top Most Highlight - Surf Styled TacosThanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback! We're happy to hear you enjoyed your visit and were able to find vegetarian options that you enjoyed! We hope to see you again soon!

We always love heading to MT's Local; been going there for years like many other regulars. We always make sure to hear or read the specials; because many have been the best tasting food I've put in mouth. Last night we split both the Hanger Steak and Scallop Carbonara specials to create an incredible Surf and Turf that was awesome. Paired with a French Bordeaux that Josh (bartender) recommended and we had another memorable dinner. Keep up the great specials!Thank you so much for the very kind review, we'll be sure to mention to the chef how much you enjoy the specials! We hope to see you again soon!

Having heard many good things about 110 Grill, decided to stop in and try it. I had the plain grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. A great char on the fish, nicely season and cooked perfect. The mashed potatoes are smooth and creamy with a bit of green onion to add some texture crunch. Well done. A very good selection of local beer on tap. The most impressive was how attentive Zach was for allergies. One person has unique food allergies and this place is top notch. Zach came out to discuss what they can do, then delivered an outstanding Cajun swordfish dish that was fabulous. He even came back near the end of the dinner to ensure we had a good visit. A definite repeat visit.

I arrived this morning (a Saturday in August) on bicycles with my wife and a friend. We found a table with an umbrella on the attractive patio and plopped our gear on the table to save our place while we went inside to order. We waited in a line with 4 parties ahead of us before we could order our breakfasts. We were told to pay the cashier at the bakery section of the restaurant. We had to wait in line again with several parties ahead of us with kids trying to choose their donuts! Meanwhile, our breakfast sandwiches were ready but our drinks were not. We went back to get our sandwiches and then back in the donut line to pay our bill. There was only one person working both the cash register and picking the donuts. Very frustrating! We couldn't believe we had to wait behind everyone picking out their donuts and bakery items and all we wanted to do was pay for our breakfast sandwiches that were getting cold as we waited. Finally we went out to our table and enjoyed our breakfast, which was good (not excellent). The coffee was better than average but not as good as Starbucks. The place was clean, as were the restrooms. It's attractive and tastefully decorated. We did notice two cars with elderly folk using walkers. They didn't see the mobility-challenged parking spaces and parked on the wrong side of the paito. They had difficulty getting their walkers up the patio steps. There should be an easy-to-see sign directing people to the parking spaces near the ramp for walkers and wheelchairs. It would be nice if there were more vegan options on the menu and available for takeout.Hi DaveP2010,First, thanks so much for choosing to stop by and join us for breakfast. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback, as this is the best way for us to continue to improve for our guests! The Grab & Go Style of our cafe can be a bit confusing, so we'll continue to work on ways to make that a better process for guests. With that being said, we're glad to hear you enjoyed the coffee, and atmosphere of the bakery! We look forward to seeing you again soon, and will mention to our kitchen team about testing our some more vegan options.

Market Place Diner

The pros of this place are that the food is pretty good and their 4 table outdoor seating in good weather is quite enjoyable. The con is that service here has taken a definite downturn. There was a table open outside immediately when we arrived this past weekend, but nobody came to take our order for a good 10-12 minutes. The food took more than 15 minutes to come during which I used their bathroom and found the inside seating was only about half full. How long can eggs, home fries and omlettes take when you're not busy? we had to wait another 10 minutes after we were done for our waitress to bring the check and then that much more for her to take our payment before I got up and brought it into her. We then waited almost that much longer before she brought out my card and the receipt for a signature. The food and ambience are pretty good here, but the service no longer is. Bud's is better for less money.
