America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
We were driving from Dallas to Austin, the weather was horrible and we had to stop for a break. Servers in Dunkin Donuts were super friendly, made our coffees very promptly and asked to try, offering to remake it if it wasn't to our satisfaction. Very helpful for a weary traveler!
I like to eat light when traveling and Chicken Express has awesome vegetables! I had their delicious mashed potatoes with gravy and their coleslaw. Their coleslaw is similar to what Chic-Fil-A use to sell, but no longer carries. Mmmm mmmm good! They do serve meat: fried chicken, chicken tenders and fried fish. They serve many side dishes: hush puppies, French fries, fried pickles, corn nuggets, corn-on-the-cob, green beans, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, cheese sticks, coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy. They have white rolls and cornbread. Drinks are the standard coke fare, smoothies and tea. Dessert is apple or cherry pie. This is a Southerners delight, but you can choose to eat light and healthy too. The mashed potatoes are like grandmas! Yummy!
if you like chicken salad sandwiches, this is the place to stop!!!! Oh my goodness they have got this recipe to an art!!!!! Their sweet tea is off the chain as well!!! So, if you come across one you need to stop and have a chicken salad sandwich!!!!
An original car-hop burger joint, built in the 1950's. No more car-hops, but you can walk up to the window and order some old fashioned burgers and crinkle cut french fries. The Dr. Pepper is as sweet as a fountain drink.

The wife and I stopped at IHOP before going on to our hotel. Decided that since it was a later dinnertime we ordered an omelet and the 3 buttermilk pancakes that come with it. The omelet is the Colorado and is very good. Has 3 meats, peppers and onions. It also comes with salsa. We split the meal and were thoroughly satisfied. A very cheap meal for the two of us. Really enjoy Ihop.

I like to stop at as many bbq places as possible. This place was very good. Nice tangy smoky flavor. The brisket sandwich was outstanding. The ribs were wonderful. The usual sides...beans, potato salad and coleslaw were also very good.

It's a "deli," right? But this location does not have corned beef OR pastrami! Couldn't believe it. But fear not, husband came through by ordering the Cuban Brisket Sandwich for us to share, which was just perfect. Interesting twist was to include BBQ sauce along with the brisket, ham, dijon, and pickles, and all served on a jalapeno roll. We used the drive-thru so cannot comment on the cleanliness of this venue. Service was not fast, but not slow either; what you would expect for a deli sandwich. We were quite pleased with the food and friendly service.

The Cotton Exchange Cafe has awesome farm to table fresh ingredients. The food is absolutely delicious!Based on someone elseâs review, I tried their avocado, chicken, lettuce wrap. Oh my! It was delicious! And the fruit bowl was awesome too!The atmosphere is special. You have a historical building that has been remodeled. You have tables with linen tablecloths with wax paper over the top which gives a special, yet relaxing atmosphere. The staff was excellent. The service was superb. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere great. I will definitely return. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Comfortably casual atmosphere. We were seated right away, and given menus. By the time our server came back, we were ready to order. I got Fiesta taco salad with cilantro lime dressing, with fajita beef. Hubby got I-35 Surprise, which was hamburger steak topped with Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and brown gravy, with sides of fried okra and grilled veggies. My salad was large, and the "fajita beef" seemed to be cut up steak. It also came with small portions of guacamole, sour cream, and green salsa. The cilantro lime dressing was excellent. Best taco salad I've ever eaten. Hubby said all of his food was very good, too. Our meals were barely over $10 each. Great service, too.

We stopped by the R&K Cafe in Hillsboro, Texas on a road trip to Waco with 10 business owners. It was so cool! Loved the unique building, decor, and atmosphere, but what really made this a memorable stop was our server, Carrie. She was so friendly and helpful, educated us about the different specials and the food was FABULOUS! Several of us tried the Chicken Fried Steak which was perfect! Hope to stop here again on another road trip. Highly recommend a stop at this fun place!
