I would love to give this place 5 stars since I live locally, but have found some inconsistencies in food and service the last several times I've visited. Cleanliness is one that should be top priority...and have seen a ketchup stain in the same place on a baseboard that we mentioned to the manager over two months ago that is still there! Its by a walkway and very visible to anyone walking by! Better attention to detail is needed! On a positive note, they have a decent selection of beer on tap, and the food choices are great! The char broiled then grilled wings are great!!

I always stop here when traveling to this area. The cooks make the best fried potatoes, which are becoming an extinct species in Amerikana. Great milkshakes and pies are from one of the best Bakeries in SW and Central OH!=Mehaffies! Everything is exceptional and fresh. Beats the Hell out of Frisch's, whose new owner is screwing up the former traditional menu found at this RestaUrant for well over 70 years. I won't go to Frisch's anywhere after having a real bad experience at the hands of a snotty Mgr in Wilmington.! Why people won't go to this one is a testgimony to how stupid and provincial people in Highland County really are!

Have been three times.The first service was no good; server was unknowledgeable and didnât get our first approach for almost 15 minutes. Our pizza was okay.Second visit, it was a little busy, but was complete ignored for over 20 minutes! Once seated at the bar, our DD asked for a tea â- one hour later, no tea. Our food was okay. Third visit was my daughter and I. Service was absolutely inexcusable and the appetizers were almost inedible.Strike three for me!I notice employees give attention to their friendsâ- it was truly unreal!

A friend and I stopped for a late dinner. Very comfortable place, great buffet, good people and service. I was very hungry, having flown from Arizona and not having eaten in over 18 hrs. The buffet food was all excellent, however upon ordering, both of us were told our meat (ground sirloin and a rib eye) had to be cooked to at east medium. Had I not been so hungry I would have eaten my boots, same with the rib eye. My friend took half his home for the dog. The dog probably buried it. I would not hesitate to return, but I would stick to the buffet.

Highly recommend the place. The food is fresh, prepared to request, and served hot. The specials are numerous and great. Service was prompt, friendly, and accurate. Decorated in beautiful antiques with great views. Definitely will go again and again.

Apparently the buffet is a hot item here. We took the recommendation to try it but it fell short in my opinion. There as a salad bar but marginal st best. There was spaghetti but it looked like the pasta was there a while. Didnât try it or the sauce. Should have went with a menu item. Nice wait staff. Clean rest room. We had 2 eat in orders. My order was 1st and the people I was with ordered about 10 minutes after I did. They got theirs first and mine never came out. They were almost completely done eating when I started getting upset that my food hadn't came out yet. When I was goign to ask about it, they brought it out to our table. 3 orders of fried were ICE COLD. I had to get them to remake them. After we ate, we wnet to the game rooms. THere were atleast 3 parties going on back there. I'm assuming my order got overlooked or put on the back burner (so the speak lol) I got one measley "sorry." and that was it.
