Really love this old building and the surrounding area. The staff make you feel very welcomed. The pastries are really great and the quiches delicious. We enjoyed our food on the plane as we traveled back home with great memories of Oregon.

We are "on the quest" with McMenamins' passports, and had a memorable lunch here. The food is quintessential McMenamins, and not much different from other sites. But the setting, the history, the layout of this site are really special. We would love to spend more time exploring the entire building and reading all the historical information posted with the many photos. We would also love to come back for an evening of music (presented every single night). And thank you to Bev for her friendly service!

We have eaten at this chain in many other cities and was no different. Good crafted beer and great food. Kids had chicken tenders, pizza and fries and wife and I shared the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Always great! Don't forget to leave room for dessert - the salt caramel pizookie is a must have!!!

these type of dining establishments are a dime a dozen, so it's really hard to stand out... nice decor, an excellent bar, tasty "bar food" type cuisine for a luncheon... I'd be interested to try some of their dinner servings... but perhaps another time. Tasty burgers, good wings, yummy fish tacos.... all with friendly, efficient service. You could do worse! Our team strives to deliver an excellent experience, and are glad you found this to be the case during your visit. If you have further needs or questions, please reach out! Thank you for dining with us!

Went here for a business lunch. The service is fast and excellent. The environment is nice, although the background music is a bit too loud (I had to raise my voice to make conversation). Unfortunately, the food misses the mark for a gastropub. The scotch egg was excellent, but the lunch entrees were sub par. I had their baja tacos and the dish is a mess of ingredients that was hard to eat My colleague had a panini sandwich that was cold inside (cheese not melted). Both of us didn't finish our meals. I think I will return here in the future for drinks and snacks... but I probably won't return for lunch or dinner

For $7.99 you can get an excellent burger with fries, which is a Monday special. Anything from mushrooms to bacon, all are excellent and a good savings. Then for an extra $1 you can get a gluten free bun. The food was very good but the atmosphere is a bit drab and worn.

I really enjoy the burgers at Helvetia Tavern. There is the regular size and a two fisted jumbo cheeseburger garnished with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a super secret sauce that tastes like real mayonnaise, real ketchup, and sweet relish. YUMM!The fries are cooked perfectly with a crisp exterior with soft (not soggy) Center and seasoned with a light salt. The restaurant is very busy even though itâs out in the country across from a sheep ranch. Tradesmen stream in at lunch and to-go orders stream out.Seating is limited on the restaurant side with more booth seating on the bar side.Service is friendly and very fast. The fries and the burger secret sauce makes Helvetia Tavern one of our favorites.

Oh how I missed a Ruby beer! This place is a great a find. Itâs sort of tucked away off the road with lots of trees and shrubs (twinkling Bistro lights too) so you donât feel like your right off the freeway. Great atmosphere and standard McMenamins food, vibe, drinks and outdoor seating! They have the white shed cigar bar around the corner too!

Copper River Restaurant and Bar. An exclusive concept that is locally owned and operated by those that brought Oregon the renowned, Oswego Grill.
I was here as part of a work-related celebration. We had about 2 dozen employees from the same company there. We had reservations and were seated in an area clearly laid out better for groups like ours. Overall, I think they were understaffed. Service was slow and there was only person doing the orders for the group. Our orders were taken and most of us got our food in a timely manner. Except one person. She waited until everyone else had their food then asked if hers was also coming soon. The look on the server's face told me something had gone wrong, but she covered nicely and said it would be right out. We waited another 10-15 minutes with no food for the woman sitting next to me. We finally were able to catch someone (not an easy task) and she looked surprised the food hadn't come. Come to find out, it hadn't even been started. So, she was asked to wait longer. At this point, we're all sharing our food with her and people are even done and starting to leave. She did finally get her food. I was shocked not that the mistake happened but that nothing was done to try to set it right, especially for a large, business group. She could have been offered an appetizer or an extra drink. She could have been offered to have her meal comp'd. Heck, they could have even profusely apologized for the mistake. But they didn't. I walked away thinking I would never bring my coworkers here. I wonder how many others thought the same.Thank you for your post, Kim J.Our sincere apologies for this gaffe with your associate. We dropped the ball on this service moment.Would you please contact our management, so we can make this right with you. Here's her contact information:Katie Jones, ManagerCopper River Restaurant & Bar7370 NE Cornell RdHillsboro, Oregon [email protected]

I have been here a few times. If it is your first, yes, the address is correct, it is in the middle of an industrial area.Whatever beer you ever dreamed you wanted is for sale here, in addition to a huge selection of favorites and microbeers on tap.The kitchen is slow, there is no getting around that, so kick back and enjoy yourself. The food is worth the long wait. Everything is always perfect and delicious!
