I really like the lay out of the restaurant. You have plenty of room to enjoy your dinner. It has friendly laid back vibe.We had the Trout, which was the catch of the day. It was good, not the best I have ever had. But it was very good and a nice size portion. The sides of Brocolini and red potatoes was very good.We also had an order of the peel and eat shrimp. And let me tell you, the peel and eat shrimp was the star of the show. Nice size shrimp and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will definitely go back. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We are a locally-owned modern neighborhood restaurant serving new American cuisine and fresh cocktails. FOURK's upbeat atmosphere is ideal for everyday dining - a business luncheon, a girls' night out, a dinner for two or a fun, group occasion. Our attent
WE have eaten at many of the restaurants in Hickory on our business trips to the area. This is one of the best dining destinations we have found in this area. It had a surprising feel when we finally found this place. It is definitely off the beaten track. This restaurant was located amongst neighborhoods not business establishments.WE arrived for dinner without reservations but were seated promptly. The atmosphere has an upscale feel to it. The outside of the restaurant does not grab you neither does the views from its location but the interior is well done and makes up for other areas it might lack in appeal. Our service too was very good. They were super accommodating even splitting our salad which we shared. The food and drinks were top notch. They had some very nice drink specials at $5 per drink. They were top notch libations. For our entrée we had the Prime Rib. It was all very good. This was a nice place to go for dinner. We would enjoy a return visit. This is one of the top five dining destinations in the area at least from our perspective.Thank you so much for the review! We are so happy that you found us and had a great experience here. We appreciate the detailed feedback and will share your positive comments with our team. We are happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere, service, food and drinks here. We love it when new guests have a great experience, and are glad to hear that you will return. Thanks again, and we look forward to serving you again soon!Sincerely, Sean & Erica

This is arguably our best restaurant and did not disappoint eight of us. Several marveled over the salmon special, others enjoyed the beef medallions and I relished the twin filets with Gorgonzola paired with a very nice Pinot. Service was impeccable. We recommend the restaurant invest in recovering the stained and unsightly chairs and give the facility some âfresheningâ as well. Several in our group resorted to placing their napkins on top of the stained seats. This detracts from an otherwise memorable outing.

H.Ave participates in Queens Feast and unlike other restaurants offers items from the menu. Itâs been a while since an underwhelming visit and we thought weâd try again. We are glad we did! Spouse ordered burger and beer from daily specials and I had the Queens Feast. The meat and cheese board as my appetizer was enough to share. The mustard and the tomato jelly was yummy. My steak was delicious but a bit over cooked from medium. Dessert was flourless chocolate tort - so good! Service was great. Shout out to David. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed our visit. Oh I should mention the Basil Lime Margarita! Best margarita EVER!

I came here last night to celebrate my birthday with my family and we had a wonderful experience! We had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated, which was typical. The server was super friendly and accommodating to our order. I had the half rack of ribs with green beans and mashed potatoes while the rest of my party had sirloin steaks with salads and other varying sides. My ribs fell off the bone and were perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also delicious. Our server also kept up with our refills. It was great!

Standard outback menu. We were there at approximately 1:15pm and the lunch crowd had already left. We both ordered Alice spring chicken which when finally served was very good. Table service was good but delivery of food was slow. Was told that "corporate people" were in the kitchen. I would think that the kitchen would be more on top of it if the big wigs were there but apparently that caused them to bog down. Had not eaten here in a long time and it may be awhile before we return.

A dear friend and I met halfway in Hickory, and with some difficulty we managed to find our way to downtown. The Old Hickory Station was the most interesting and fun place for lunch. Very friendly inside and outside dining with an attentive staff.

The Hickory area is being revitalized with a shopping area that includes cute boutiques and places to eat. The Hickory Brew is one of those places. We grabbed a few IPAs and enjoyed burgers. The Irish root was a great side dish as was the slaw. The bar is large with high ceilings and several tables. The bartender was friendly and attentive.

We visited for our first time a few days ago. I drank a delicious craft beer. I wouldn't call the beer selection vast but it was adequate. I had chicken tenders with buffalo dipping sauce. Chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Dipping sauce was good too. My wife had some type of chicken casserole in a bread bowl. The potato chips were chewy instead of crisp but the manager dropped by and was glad to replace them with fries. I'd suggest trying this place out if you haven't already.

Sandwich Shop serving Daily Specials, Homemade Sides, Specialty Sodas, Beer and Wine. Open since 2012.
This place an ongoing seasonal menu and specials. We had one bahn mi, I had a special. For sides we had cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Only regret, too much food. If we return we will share a sandwich and have two sides. Parking could be a problem às this is downtown. We lucked out with a close parking space and a free table.
