The Chicago Deep dish pizza is a must try... super yummy!! So good I had to go back the next day and try something else. Had a cocktail, the rueben sandwich and decided to treat myself with the best shake Iâve had in years. If you are in East Lansing... stop here to eat... nice staff and fantastic food - and donât forget to treat yourself to a shake too (I had the strawberry)!!

Saw Saddleback online and decided to try the place as good BBQ is hard to find here in the Lansing Area. Oh yeah there's Meat, but I hate waiting and don't want to take a chance of the things I want being sold out--So off to Saddleback Barbeque. The restaurant is very laid back casual, almost a take-out place in disguise, but it's clean and comfortable. The menu is all BBQ. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken several styles. When you order know that everything is ala-carte but the sides are big enough for two to share. We started with Bloody Mary's--WOW--they were great! Spicy and everything a Bloody Mary should be. We tried the chips and dip appetizer. Homemade chips and dip enough for the 4 of us. For Entrees, we had the 1/2 rack of ribs, pulled pork, smoked Turkey and the pulled pork sandwich. Everything was great--A side of fresh cut fries was enough for 3 of us, the Macaroni and Cheese creamy and cheesy, the only disappointment was the cole slaw, portrayed as Southern it was far from it--dressing was lacking and the cabbage was dry. The portion sizes were generous and everything was delicious. Service was friendly, fast and enjoyable. Our waiter talked us through the menu and answered all our questions with humor and a friendly attitude. Everything here is scratch made and excellent--the BBQ is slow smoked overnight and the designated smoker is listed on the menu board for all to know who has to mind the smoker that night--I love this place and the brisket rivals anything I've eaten in Texas. Good food, a fun place, with a great bar and craft beers. Oh, and they have a loyalty program too--so you get stuff when you spend money there!!!

Stopped at this McDonald for coffee and a sausage McMuffin. Went through the drive-thru. Service was good. The property was in good repair appears to be very clean. A good place to stop next to a Speedway gas station. Located just south of business I-96 (Saginaw).

Interior has a lot of character with defaced dollar bills taped everywhere and Christmas lights on the ceiling. Pico burger was very good. The homemade chips that they tout on the menu were cut thin and fried just right, not greasy at all. The Cesar wrap was ok. The skinny French fries were better than the wrap. The chicken Shreddars were a little over battered and absorbed a little too much grease. Great service even though the placed was packed at 6:15 on a Thursday night. Will return to try some barbecue.

Welcome to the Mayfair Bar, established in 1934. We are known for our great burgers and award winning chili and salsa. We also have a full menu including salads, wraps and Mexican food. We're big fans of Michigan craft beers and have a rotating selection.
Very friendly bar with great bar food. Excellent service and overall very clean. Fun checking out all the names and initials carved into the original tables.

We were here with our kids and grandkids for Sunday brunch. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was restful. We thought the meal was a bit bland, although they served up a few extras with little muffins and mini brownies in spite of our decision to not have dessert. The prices were on the high side for some of the dishes.

Had to revisit the Blue Gill Grill, located at a charming location very close to Lake Lansing. Had it not been so cold, would have walked out closer to the lake. Was craving their grouper sandwich, and once again it was fresh and scrumptious (!), and came with perfect hot fries (and I'm not one who hops on the fries wagon that often) Tasty cole slaw too. Service was friendly and swift! I'll be back!

upon arriving seating was full around 1145am sunday morning, which is ok. however nobody said hi or smiled despite checking people out at the counter many times next to us while we waited. when table became empty i asked may we sit there or would you like us to wait til someone clears table. he said either or was ok. it appeared that the black haired man was working alone bussing and cking out tables with an elder server lady. we sat down. it took 8 min to get a menu and be greeted by a server who appeared from the back. waited just shy of an hour for the food. my french toast was cold, not warm, and no meat like i ordered came with it. i asked host to heat it up plz since my server was nowhere to be found. my server brought it out for him. no meat still. i asked. he said oh maybe they forgot about it one second. he brought out 1/2 cooked and half burnt links. i was famished and needed to eat. i ate it. when my spouse asked about my meat, i told him it looks raw but burnt, elder lady server over heard me say it and looked at me but didnt offer to help. it turns out about 4-5 were working servers etc. but why is it no one was to be seen much? short a cook in the back perhaps? hostess had to refill drink cuz our server was nowhere again, most the servers stayed in the back it seemed.i cringed at leaving a $5 tip. i cringed at paying for the meal at all. it was mediocre and i felt like a burden to my server. people cleared out so it wasnt full the whole time we were there, just in the beginning. hire staff who might be glad you came in. prices are great, but service shouldnt be this way.

Blondie's Barn is a one of a kind: plenty of excellent food, served hot, great servers, and fair prices. Certainly a crowd on Saturday morning at 10 am; recommend going earlier for sure. Stunning amount of food, great eggs, pancakes, omelets....just about anything you can imagine. Focused on families, good food, fair prices. Very highly recommended.
