Been driving by for years, should have stopped in sooner. Cozy, easy, informal and very friendly atmosphere. Order at the counter and pour yourself some coffee. I enjoyed the Western Scramble Special. Real home fries from small local potatoes. Iâll be back.

Had their half-chicken with a side of barbecued beans and their grilled jalapeno corn bread. The chicken was moist and perfect, and the beans were really good. I don't care for corn bread (it's usually too dry and flavorless), but theirs has an excellent taste, and the fact that it's grilled only adds to it. There's only one barbecue sauce on the table, compared to the half-dozen or so that other barbecue joints offer, but theirs is so good that you don't need anything else. The raspberry magarita was also great. Wonderful service, reasonable prices, great blues music streaming, nice ambiance. Wish we had one of these in Saco/Scarborough!

As the summer is winding down, this was my last chance to enjoy a steamed lobster dinner. I went with my wife and mother-in-law to this restaurant. My wife ordered the grilled salmon salad and my mother-in-law order the lobster roll. I enjoyed the lobster while my mother-in-law devoured the roll. My wife was not overly thrilled with the salad but ate all the salmon. The food was delivered in a timely manner (considering the lobster needed to be steamed), the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, the price was reasonable for the items ordered.

A bright, friendly, breakfast/lunch restaurant featuring American cuisine and authentic burritos. We also offer homemade baked goods that are outstanding! We serve organic Rockin' & Roastin' coffee and offer several Gluten-free options
A lovely Maine cafe and a good spot for a casual breakfast. A bit crowded, and tables are close together, which made maneuvering difficult for a mobility-impaired guest - but staff was helpful and the breakfast and baked goods were tasty. Clearly loved by locals and tourists alike. Thanks for the review - we appreciate it!

Big sign out front: Five lobsters for $35. Okay, you think, that's $7 each, not bad. Well here's the deal-- for more than $36 (with tax) when you get home and weigh the lobsters, there are 3.3 pounds among the five lobsters. These are the smallest lobsters, which should go for the cheapest price. Today, mid-priced lobsters were $6.99/lb. For your $35 you would have gotten five pounds of live lobsters buying those. These, cooked and chilled, come in at just shy of $11/lb. Worth the difference? Not even close. Most stores cook lobsters for you at no cost. Shaw's is right down the road and their 1.25 pound lobsters have been $6.99 for weeks.

A cafe, deli and bakery that serves all-natural, from-scratch food, including homemade soups, deli salads, made-to-order sandwiches, hand-formed loaf breads, muffins and scones, cookies and cupcakes, cakes and pies and more!
This place is a little chaotic, with 360 degree choices, so suggest just studying the flow a bit before ordering. I noticed they had some interesting soups and snack foods after I had paid for my meal. Had the smoked chicken sandwich on tomato basil bread, but the bread was bland and became instantly soggy with mayo (I ate it right there). It was a sloppy mess. My wife did not finish her sandwich, which was also messy and not flavorful.Lot of cookies, brownies, etc. My wife didn't finish her brownie (plain chocolate). I got a German chocolate version that was good. Long wait even though it was not crowded. There is a small indoor eating area and some outdoor.

I was met at the front door by two smiling waitresses and sat down to have a simple but excellent grilled cheese sandwich with their homemade coleslaw....I also had a taste of a friends blackened Haddock wrap, which was scrumptuous! They have a wide selection of beverages and wonderful baked goods that you can take to go, if your full...I tried the Lemon Cake and would go back just for that. The Coffee was fesh and hot, perfect after a rain. If you are looking for your meal done in 5-10 minutes then go to a fast food place, the foods great and worth the wait! STOP and EAT! LOVE THE RELAXING ATMOSPHERE!!!!!

I have photos available. Their specialty is fish chowder.
We came with 8 visiting friends for dinner. Service was excellent, something that is difficult to achieve with large parties. Our friends enjoyed their food and the view. Particular favorites were the calamari and the scallop appetizers. Those who ordered non-stewed fish found them overcooked. The sauce with the mussels was too salty. But overall, a good experience.

I was in Harpswell for a mini vacation for 3 days. Let me start by saying we went twice because of the Lobster roll. I would give a 10 on that but had an issue with the seafood chowder and the person who waited on me. I asked what was in the seafood chowder and was told all mixed seafoods, lobster, clams, haddock and more. The flavor was wonderful, BUT I found one tiny piece of a clam, a tiny piece of lobster, and something else that was red, maybe a shrimp. 99% of it was haddock. After two bites, I returned to the window and told her there was not any other seafood I could find, and the girl said yes it is mostly haddock. I told her I specially asked because I am not a fish chowder lover, I will eat haddock in a Seafood Chowder but I would NEVER order a whole cup of fish chowder. She also told me they do not make fish chowder that it IS Seafood chowder. . I told her I was not happy with it and she said, sorry but you ate most of it. TWO spoonfulls. She came back and gave me a tiny plastic cup with more of the seafood chowder in it. So she said, I looked at it with my spoon and again 100% haddock. I ate the broth and thew out over a 1/2 cup of fish. Second time ordered clam chowder which was good and especially liked that it had no potatoes in it. What ever happend to the customer is always right? I was NOT trying to pull a scam, I pd more for this then the clam chowder and asked if she would exchange mine for 1/2 cup of the clam chowder and her answer was bluntly NO.
