Charleston is Chef Cindy Wolf's signature restaurant whose cuisine is rooted in French fundamentals and the Low Country cooking of South Carolina, engaging both regional and international influences. The restaurant offers an extensive prix fixe tasting me
Honestly, it's a crime that Chef Wolf hasn't won a James Beard award (always a bridesmaid!). She also deserves at least one Michelin start, but alas. I have eaten in the dining room on special occasions, and the service is impeccable. But my favorite is to sit at the bar and order Gianni's famous Cosmos and spit the tasting menu with one of my besties. I love being able to watch people coming and going. I love the conversations and the intimate feel of the bar area. Everything is delicious and I find myself at least tasting things I've never had before and then, of course, loving them (sweetbreads, liver mousse, oysters, etc.). You cannot go wrong at Charleston.Your high praise is truly wonderful to hear. Thank you! So long as we maintain our current course and continue to emphasize quality as we always have, the accolades which you mentioned will doubtlessly come our way. It is all just a matter of time!

Very busy and popular place right on the water - inside and outside seating. Crab Florentine (because they were out of mahi mahi) was delicious. Sweet potato fries were not quite reheated from yesterday and therefore soggy and cold, and salad had an undentifinable flavor that made it inedible.Service was pretty good considering how busy they were.

This bar/restaurant/outdoor concert pavilion/pool hall/tiki bar is AWESOME for travelers to Baltimore. Has that old Baltimore "neighborhood feel". Great food and service Baltimore style
As we drove up to the restaurant we began to question our decision. It looked like a dive bar in an industrial park. Walked in the door to the bar area with what looked like a pool league to the right. Glad we didn't turn around. We were seated in the restaurant part to the left. The food was pretty good. The nachos were huge but could use a little more flavor. The service was great. There was someone checking on us. The wait staff worked well together. We hope to come back one night to play music bingo.Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! We're also glad you decided to stay and had a good time! Our music bingo is a blast, it starts every Wednesday at 7:30. We hope to see you again soon!

We pride ourselves on preparing our from-scratch menu with fresh seasonal ingredients and a whole lot of flavor. Our cozy, intimate dining room is the perfect setting to enjoy a seasonal dish and a glass of carefully chosen wine or beer. A favorite among
I did extensive research before deciding to plan a large dining party in Baltimore and chose this restaurant in the end, due to the fantastic reviews. While I will admit that they have some strengths at the restaurant, I think that these reviews are incredibly inflated, after the experience I had there. The food was decent, and the best dish I tasted that night was the octopus appetizer. It was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was prepared well with accompaniments that actually added to the taste and mouthfeel. I took the server's recommendation for entree and had the scallops. They were tender and cooked well. However the accompanying squash puree and Swiss chard were so strong and heavy that they drowned out the delicate flavor of the scallops. I think that this dish died by design, and with more thought could be much better. The main issue I had with the service was the fact that in the middle of our dinner- soon after the entrees were served I was presented with the bill and told "we're closing now." This was a shock, as there was no warning whatsoever about the kitchen closing, or even the bar. So we were never given the opportunity to order dessert or anything more. I had made plans with the management far in advance and they knew this was a special event I was planning. Anyone in such a position should have known that we would want to dine later and if we couldn't would at least warn us before the kitchen closed- let alone the whole restaurant. We had been waiting for the dessert menu and without warning they just kicked us out and closed the restaurant. I believe this could have been handled much better and IMO it is a sign of poor management. This is not a restaurant I can bring myself to ever consider trying again, considering the experience I had.

We flew into BWI, and opted to tour Guinness, as our lodging checkin was 3 hours away. Our group of 7 enjoyed the tour and tasting very much. Afterwards, we had a appetizers as a hold over. The menu was limited, but served our expectations well. We selected the Reuben, Hummus and cheese bread.

We recently had lunch at Olive Grove. It wasn't busy on a Saturday at around noon. The menu is large with Italian, seafood, and several other options. The crab cakes and soft shell crabs were very good. The chicken creole was just OK....probably should have stayed with Italian. Service was good and prices are reasonable. We'll go back.

We dined at the Catonsville Gourmet on a Friday evening in July. The restaurant offers a nice selection seafood including soft shelled crabs, when in season. The dining is attractive, bright and comfortable. They apparently don't serve liquor (BYOB) since my friend brought his own wine ... I'm not sure if there was a corkage charge. The seafood was good but not exceptional. My wife's soft shelled crabs were too oily and my sea bass was not rare as I ordered. Neither of us finished our entrees. They weren't bad, just not good enough to elimate the need for a travel box. All in all a solid restaurant but not particularly memorable. .

We decided to celebrate our anniversary by dining and sightseeing within 100 miles of our home. This establishment is only 10 miles away and weâve never visited before. Wow! What great food. Itâs a local âhole in the wallâ that is a must for breakfast or lunch. The portions are very generous, the taste is phenomenal, the service was excellent, and priced just right. We will definitely be making this place a regular stop!!!

Have been here before. Had a different experience tonight. The waitress was the primary issue. She took our drink order, asked immediately if I needed more time with the menu. I did. When she returned I ordered fettuccine with shrimp, my companion ordered crab cakes. I asked for no tomatoes in the salad. A different person delivers the food. Of course the salad had tomatoes, and then a bowl of butter pats. I flag down what I thought was a busboy to ask for bread. He tells someone who tells someone and the waitress returns and tells me my dinner will come out with garlic bread, regular bread is included in my friends entree not mine. Whatever. When my dinner arrives I asked for grated cheese. She replied, âwe do not have grated cheese, she could bring me Parmesan â?.....?..Tried to give my plate to the person who is delivering our dinner and he said no the waitress had to take itCrab cakes loaded with shell pieces, as pointed out by out table and another. Does not ask if we want coffee and dessert. Delivers the check. Put down two credit cards and ask her to split it and this is when I gets very awkward. She says sheâll take the first credit card right and come back and then grab the second credit card. The wait in between transactions was like a full five minutes. Very patronizing âif you could leave me the top copy it would be really really awesomeâ or amazing or some extreme superlative. Thank you for the feedback. Weâre sorry to hear that your recent dining experience with us was not to your full satisfaction. We sincerely apologize for this matter and thank you for bringing it to our attention. We would really like to further discuss these concerns with you. If you wouldnât mind could you please reach out to us at [email protected], we would greatly appreciate it.
