This gastropub has really great, chef-driven meals that should drive the market in Clermont, even though the town can barely support a Panda Express. Aside from the Clermont Fish House for British Fish n Chips, driving through town to somewhere else to sit down for a meal is a good idea unless you stop here. There are a variety of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian fare as well as high quality select cheese and meat dishes. Not the place to take kids for chicken fingers, and you won’t be bargain hunting—strictly paying for custom quality and attention to palate. And the craft brew is very good.

Sat promptly. Menu is mainly pancakes and waffles. Found an Eggs Benedict. It was good though the muffin could have been toasted more, the egg cooked 30 seconds less and a splash more hollandaise would have been ideal. Overall tasty. Home fries were undercooked. Tried some of my sons waffle. It was excellent and I don’t like waffles! Service was very good in fact possibly overly so. Decent value. Would definitely return.

Have not been in several years but this was my grandpa's favorite BBQ spot when he was alive. Tonight we decided to go back and we will be back again soon. Got seated quick, served even faster and the food was awesome to say the least. I had the full rack of ribs and it is fall off the bone goodness. Great flavor and hot off the smoker. Prices were right on with the food served and the portions were just right. If your in Clermont and you have a hankering for some good BBQ don't go to Sonny's stop here.

After seeing all the rave reviews here, I felt this place fell a little short. I'm a typical "BBQ Snob" who fires up my smoker monthly and thinks mine is the best BBQ on earth. I've eaten at hundreds of BBQ joints in probably 35 states. I ordered the two meat combo and three sides.Fried Okra: Typical southern dish cooked good. I got jalapeno ranch dressing. Overall, not bad at all. Cole Slaw: I'm not a fan of mayo based slaw but I gave it a whirl. One bite was plenty...loaded with mayo.Baked beans: Over the top good. Thick with a great smoke flavor, packed with meat; just like I make them. These were some of the best beans I've ever had.Ribs: Six St. Louis. Good smoke flavor, slight "char," and they almost fell off the bone.Pork: It came what I refer to as "stringy." Pulled very fine, the way I like it. But... THEY ADD SAUCE TO THE MEAT! That'a a "cardinal sin" in my book. Good meat does not need sauce...at least not much. The texture was tender, but I can't speak to the taste due to the sauce.Texas Toast: Two slices. If you like butter on your toast, you'll love this. $21 plus a tip; decent price in my book. Overall it was decent. Would I stop again? Well, I was traveling home and it was on the way and stopped. I'd try it again but would not drive 25 miles out of my way to eat there.

We celebrated Mother’s day at our favorite café in Clermont. Our waiter “Leslie C” was prompt with bringing our drinks, I ordered my favorite, the Italian “PoPo” sandwich with a side of Tomato Basil Florentine “TBF” Soup. My wife ordered her favorite, the “Palace Cristo Sandwich with Turkey”. The “Palace Cristo with Turkey” was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife and myself. The Italian “PoPo” along with the “TBF” Soup is DELICIOUS !!, and I will continue to order it every time I return to this place. Leslie C was very prompt with service, and the food was absolutely delicious. EXCELLENT food quality, and TRULY FANTASTIC service by Leslie C, we will definitely return.

You can try all the local shops in town for tacos but the scoop is Hardee's has them all beat. Crispy shells that are not too corny and moist meat with a great side mild sauce. The cheese is grated to a thick strand to give substantial flavor and the lettuce is packed on the shell for a cool contrast. These tacos seemed a fluke the first time I had two and were so good I ordered another two just to check. Now a Friday drive bye stop for two seems a new habit. Do not miss the beef hard tacos here.

Stopped there yesterday because several cars were there and because the reviews were good. Buffet...skip it! Fried chicken is supposed to be their long suit.... almost burned in old grease and the inside barely done. All of the hot vegetables had to have been dumped out of a can and heated up....Pitiful! The salad bar was the best part....very small selection but was mostly fresh. We won't be back at this restaurant.
