Fortunately a local took us here, otherwise we wouldn't have gone. It has a campground with cabins to let and this is their gathering spot/watering hole. The place is nothing to write home about, but the staff (I think we only saw one) was friendly, There was one other party eating and they left as we were ordering so hence the reason I am giving 4 stars for service. I ordered the Haddock and I can tell you it was really fresh and plentiful, possibly one of the best pieces of haddock I had while up in Maine.

This place is beautiful, very relaxed (too much so from a service standpoint) breath taking views of Moosehead Lake, great food and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by dressing up and going to dinner at the Inn, however you must make reservations and I strongly recommend doing them in as far in advance as possible. We were only able to get in due to a cancellation! Once there plan on spending at least 90 minutes or more for your fine dining experience. By far the best food in the region for sure.

Jamo’s is a small convenience store and restaurant in Greenville, just across the street from the lakeshore, which specializes in pizza and sandwiches. This place came through for me and my friends when we went hiking in the area this past winter. It was one of the only restaurants open in wintertime, and they make true comfort food that warmed us right up after hours in 15-degree air. I’d recommend this place any time of year, but if you ever take a hike like mine, you’ll really appreciate them during winter!

We arrived here for a late lunch- around 2:30 on a Monday. We were seated right away in a corner away from the windows. It was pretty dark- had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu. Good selections to chose from on the menu. I had the Yukon grilled chicken sandwich. It was very good! Chicken was moist and tasty. We were a party of six and everyone was happy with what they got. Would eat there again.

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Greenville. They have plenty of options on the menu for just about everyone, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. She, a local, even gave us “flatlanders” (a Maine expression that refers to people not from Maine) tips on where to look for moose in the area! We didn’t end up seeing any moose, but we had a good dinner here.
