My wife and I were visiting Greenfield this weekend. We tried Griggsby's Station for dinner at about 830. The restaurant was crowded but winding down for the evening. We took a seat on the outside patio. We ordered a salad and a burger which we shared since the burgers looked large. I had a Guinness draft from a can, not very good. The Guinness people should review their product. My wife's wine was good. The burger was large and excellent. The salad was good but the smallest salad I have seen in a long time. We did have to wait a long time for our food for some reason, but the patio was pleasant enough we did not mind. Overall, I recommend the restaurant and will return in the area. The manager might consider offering a few drinks to those who had to wait extended time for their food.

My husband wanted to take advantage of the free Veterans menu, so decided we would give this Applebee's another chance. In the past, it has been hit and miss with service, so it had been awhile since we were last here. We had the best friendly service from the hostess when we walked in the door, from the server, the manager, and when we walked back out the door. Quite a change from our last experience! Nick, was our server, and he did an amazing job!!! On top of everything, and constantly checking on us. Food was hot and very tasty. Wait time between when we placed our order until food was served was short. Everyone was on the ball that day. We spoke to the manager, and everything was all good. Wanted to let him know what a much better experience we had this time compared to the past few times. We will return sooner again, as it had been awhile since we had stopped here.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
Normally, when I'm traveling, I try to avoid national chain restaurants and like to look for "local flavor" But -- traveling home from Colorado to Ohio we were tired and were looking for something quick and safe (no fast food) without looking for local flavor. Checking Yelp, I saw that there was an O'Charley's coming up so I broke my rule about no national chains.O'Charley's didn't disappoint. The restaurant was clean, the service was very good and the food was good. Stopping at a place like O'Charley's is usually a safe bet and we were pleased with our decision to stop here. Being familiar with the menu we were able to place our orders pretty quickly and the food came out really fast. We were there during the prime dinner hour and the place was really busy but service didn't suffer. This O'Charley's was a good representative of the O'Charley's chain and was what you'd expect from an O'Charley's.

This place came with an incredible reputation for great BBQ. From our experience it is a well earned reputation. We got there at about 1 pm and the place was busy but we were seated quickly and order taken. The drinks and food were delivered quickly. The order taking person was super friendly and patient as we walked through our order. We had a ribs and beef (brisket) with slaw and baked beans and a pulled pork and beef with fries and applesauce. There wasn't anything we would change about our order. Meat was fresh and hot. Slaw and beans were tasty. Fries were hot. Seating area and tables was clean as was the restrooms. We will definitely eat here again!

We were staying in Greenfield, and this time, we decided to try Montana Mike's.We were glad that we did. We both ordered the Mountain Topper which gives you the choice of a chopped sirloin (we ordered this) ....or grilled chicken breast topped with crumbled bacon and melted cheese....YUM! The sides were also very good and the rolls offered with cinnamon butter were fresh and tasty. In addition to the great food, the service and atmosphere was inviting and the place was nice and clean! If staying in this area again, we would not hesitate to return to Montana Mike's. 2 thumbs all the way up on this one!As always, be safe in your travels and Enjoy!J.

Love the food at Cracker Barrel but the service at this one was disappointing. Restaurant was not full but the staff seemed to be in slow motion. Very unusual for Cracker Barrel but this is our first visit to this one so perhaps they are the exception. Cashier was friendly and efficient but everyone else (hostess, server, gift shop) seemed to be mentally on break.

The Mug is the place to go for a pork tenderloin!Recently I took my son to The Mug for his first time. He was very impressed with the tenderloin. He said it was the BEST heâs ever eaten! When youâre in Greenfield you MUST stop for the best tenderloin in central Indiana. The prices are very reasonable too!The service is outstanding!

Housed in the basement of a former library on North St. which is a block north of Main. Plenty of parking. The bread was made fresh and served oil; butter on request. The cream of roasted red bell pepper soup got rave reviews. The beef tenderloin medallions served with real pureed potatoes and green beans with onions were legendary. And don't miss the desserts. Hidden treasure.

Stopped here for brunch, while waiting for my spouse to finish a meeting. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of seating. My server, Aubrey, was friendly, attentive and accommodating. The eggs Benedict were tasty, and the coffee is plentiful. (There is a nice selection of coffee creamers, for those so inclined.)All and all; this restaurant offers a strong option for decent food, at reasonable prices.
