Stopped to check this place out since it was the home of Grave Digger and Dennis Anderson. After walking around a bit decide to stop into the Diner to get a bite to eat. The servers were very nice and the diner was very clean. Food came out quick and was very good.

These are just like the New York bagels I remember. They are very good fresh and not bad a couple days old either. And there cream cheese. Yum!!

I have been coming to OBX for years and this was my first visit. With the name, I thought the place would be a more stuffy type of martini bar, but I was wrong. They have a great assortment of beers and other type of drinks. The food was excellent and served fresh out of the kitchen so it is hot and fresh when itâs served. I will certainly be back. Sorry I waited so long to visit.

Visited Paper Canoe in August 2019 with our party of eight for dinner. The restaurant is not too large so definitely make a reservation. We had a nice table which accommodated our party very comfortably. Our server was knowledgeable, pleasant and most importantly attentive. The restaurant is on the sound side but unfortunately we arrived after the sunset. I would have to say that this restaurant is one of the best in the entire Outer Banks. Our drinks (Old Fashion, Manhattans etc.) were well made, and our food(fish specials, shrimp and grits, etc.) were delicious. All I can say is âtreat yourself and go there.â

This is the 4th year we have used Outer Banks Boil Company and every year we are never disappointed! Matt the owner is the coolest guy and all his staff is amazing! We have a blast every time they come to us and we even make sure we stop by the store In Timbuktu to say goodbye when we leave. Itâs more like a big family party when they come than it is a catering company coming to you. We love you guys and weâll be back next year!!!!

We felt very fortunate to find this cozy restaurant during our recent visit to Corolla. Once we stepped inside, smelled the food, and saw some of the plates, we knew it would be worth waiting for a table. While all of the food (and drinks) were good, the "snacks" (pork shanks with blue cheese slaw, crispy catfish) and salad (beets and honey crisp apples) we ordered to share were especially unique and delicious. We were also thrilled that there was a kids menu (chicken tenders or quesadilla) for our 5 year old to order from. We all left completely stuffed because we did not want to miss out on trying anything.

Driving back from OBX to Washington we needed breakfast and all restaurant in the proximity to our hotel was more than full so we decided to find a place on the way back and we stumbled over Carolina Sunrise Cafe - which do not make a lot out of it presence.Staff was very friendly and helpfull.We ordered a fairly standard breakfast selection that we served promptly.Quality was as a good homemade meal and the price was a steal.We can only recommend this place to local and other passing by

We ordered the $28 seafood platter and split it. Lots of food. The fish, oysters and shrimp were good as expected. The hushpuppys were outstanding! Now come the crab cakes [2] pan fried and over done. Crab has a delicate flavor to start with but this had way way too much salt - it had so much we could not the the crab cake - half salt and half crab it seemed. Then came the terrible fries. They had been cooked early in the afternoon and sat on the counter waiting to be reheated in the oven. When we got them they were cool, whimpy and hard crunchy ends - just the way you hate them. We were the last folks on a Sunday night and surely we had the third string cook. I suggest eating at Hardee's where you turn to this restaurant.

We came in for lunch....the place was not busy. The waitress seated us at a table which we noticed had a dead roach under it, they also had a 100.0 cleanliness rating from the county. Well at least it was dead...but the cricket we saw wasn't....We did stay and eat, I know, I know, why?Food was okay, service was okay. The place needs to be cleaned up on the outside.Floralll, WHY did you stay & eat? Why certainly because you were hungry for some home cooked scrumptious farm to table food! Bj's stellar reputation is based on 13 years of successfully serving our treasured guests a delicious meal offering value, quality, and quantity. Our 100.0 sanitation grade is prominently posted and we are extremely proud of the neatness, cleanliness, and overall appearance of our property. Our catering/mobile kitchen also received a 100.0 Reviews with negative comments are taken seriously especially when they specifically cite infractions that should not be overlooked. Our pest control company sprays on a routine basis & their schedule included a routine fall visit on Nov 4-5 wen we are closed. We invite you back with open arms for a redo especially in the shoulder season when we 'aren't busy'. Our passion is "taking care of every guest, every visit 110%" . Ya'll come back now!

We were on our way to OBX and wanted dinner for 4 adults, two little guys and a baby. They were so welcoming and sweet to the kiddos - and the food was awesome! We will definitely stop there again.
