Decided to try this place for our anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable, Very nice atmosphere. The food was pretty good. One slight disappointment was the potato dish that we ordered did not come out until we were completely finished with the other items we ordered.

The Village Baker opened July 2011 with Sara Rathbun & Oran Rankin serving locally sourced homemade food. Our founders wanted to create an eclectic atmosphere that would bring our community together through delectable dishes and casual dining. Since then,
My wife and I were seated and waited on promptly. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful without being too familiar. Food and drink were plentiful. We showed up around 1:30pm, but for lunch or dinner at regular hours, I'd suggest reservations, as the restaurant is very popular, it appears, and the dining room while not small is not very large.

The historic Kirby House has functioned as a hotel, residence, restaurant, and community hub since 1873. Purchased by The Gilmore family in 1989, today The Kirby is a well established and thriving community hub offering a variety of dining and entertainme
This place is in a great location, right before the boat canal. It is an American food pub-like atmosphere, but they have a reasonable broad menu. We both had good salads that where large enough to slake our appetites. The service was a little sketchy. The prices fit the location and the menu. It is worth a visit, better than most places in Grand HavenI am sorry that you did not enjoy your service but am glad you enjoyed the food as well as the atmosphere. If you would like to share more about what was sketchy about the service, please email [email protected] so we can address any issues.

What a refreshing choice of sandwiches found on this menu. I wanted to try them all! We were just passing through for the day and stopped here. I had a ham and cheddar with raspberry honey mustard on a grilled pretzel bun. Yummy! My hubby had a chicken salad on sourdough, it was massive. He loved it as well. The people in there were very nice and friendly. Don't miss this little gem!

As we travel the USA, we occasionally find the combination of great food and an âexperienceâ in dining. This small town cafe has a creative menu, a chef, a bar and tasty food. The owners are welcoming and cause you to want to return and for sure spread the word about their special establishment. Highly recommend! Jambalaya, Kielbasa and sauerkraut, gumbo .....

We stopped in for an early dinner on a very cool evening in Grand Haven. We were pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the menu. The sushi was very good as was the salmon. Our server did a great job, not intrusive but observant. Would definitely be back on another visit to this town.

J-Dub's is a cozy, casual eatery, with a full bar, wine list and craft beer.
But with a much wider range of entrees and a very nice, if limited, wine list. A classic local independent restaurant âpunching above its weight.â Good service. Very friendly atmosphere. Thanks so much for 1. Dining with us2. Leaving a great review!See you again soon!

A one of a kind sandwich, salad and soup shop in downtown Grand Haven
A Grand Haven must do. The food is always good and the servings are generous. Try the fries and the pickle poppers. Sandwiches are excellent. Limited seating is available. You will be toasting the town.

We waited almost an hour to eat here, but as we were waiting, we were assured by people leaving that it was worth the wait, and they were right! Everything about our experience could have sucked, and I would still go back for one if those cinnamon rolls. It didn't. Everything was great, the atmosphere, the food, the coffee, and the service! Those cinnamon rolls, though.. I'll never look at one the same!
